I don't think Lori's all that bad, but she doesn't really 'fit' the character of Phoebe. Alyssa Milano has that young spunky kinda attitude that makes her great for a character like Phoebe.

Im not possitive but most likely no, Shannen owns her image so they would have to pay her, her original salary per episode for a guest apperence, they also wanted to keep the New Power Of Three seperate from the original, she was actually going to be in the finale but they couldnt afford it same thing with pics because she owns her image. i know as much as a i like rose mcgowen paige used to really piss me off i really wished shannen coulda stayed or came back for the finale. in the special features on the s8 dvd, they said they couldn't afford to bring shannon back and if they did they were afraid it would've made the finale about prue instead of the sisters

They could have gone back in time like they did with their Grams and mother or summoned her from the dead to help them banish the hollow and defeat "The Ultimate Power." Prue's return would have been a big part of it, but not everything. They brought back the others. Shannen was asked to do the finale of 90210, but turned it down because she didn't want to be "just a prop"(guest) at David and Donna's wedding. She wasn't offered a real storyline.

She is a brilliant actress but a bit self absorbed. They had to shoot her from a certain angle because she didn't like being shot head on because 1 eye is smaller than the other. That;s true because it costs a lot of money to blow up a house even with CGI plus the 8th season other than the last two epiosdes was the least successful season of the series. It is also the reason why Daryll isnt on the eighth season.

i know as much as a i like rose mcgowen paige used to really piss me off i really wished shannen coulda stayed or came back for the finale. in the special features on the s8 dvd, they said they couldn't afford to bring shannon back and if they did they were afraid it would've made the finale about prue instead of the sisters

I already had her return worked out in my mind. They could have gone back in time like they did with their Grams and mother or summoned her from the dead to help them banish the hollow and defeat "The Ultimate Power." Prue's return would have been a big part of it, but not everything. They brought back the others. Shannen was asked to do the finale of 90210, but turned it down because she didn't want to be "just a prop"(guest) at David and Donna's wedding. She wasn't offered a real storyline.

@jimmy82869 the problem with Shannen staying on the show was that with every role she's had as an adult she becomes increasingly difficult to work with. She is a brilliant actress but a bit self absorbed. They had to shoot her from a certain angle because she didn't like being shot head on because 1 eye is smaller than the other. Google pictures of her and you'll see. The rumors about her tiffs w/Alyssa were true. Alyssa wouldn't put up with her BS. She was the perfect choice for Prue, (cont)

@roxannacullen I didn't know that about her eyes. I knew they argued over who wore which clothes, close-ups, screen time, etc. I read that Alyssa went to the producers and gave them an ultimatum: "Either she goes or I go." Actually, the tension played very well onscreen.

@jimmy82869 I'm not sure, but yeah, Shannen probably refused if she was asked. It all depends on if Shannen quit or if she was fired. We don't know that. If she was fired, Brad Kern probably didn't ask her to come back. If she quit, he probably did. Shannen didn't tell her side of the story about leaving Beverly Hills 90210 until the new series started, so maybe one day, Shannen will tell us what happend here too.

No, there's no relation but Bruce Seth Green worked on Several Buffy epiosdes which Seth Green the actor was in which must of caused some confusion. lol

I think Lori was good. She just wasn't Alyssa. She's playing the character completely different from what we got used to seeing. You can have the exact same lines but different people interpret them diffrerently and say them diffrerently.

what makes alyssa better for pheobe is she showed more rebelion than lori could you could tell when she walked in the door for the first time how prue could get annouyed with her. that house is really bad too! it's lnot as big as it appears on the outside!

that girl who plays phoebe is a terrible actress shannen and holly know what there doing lori is the only actress there who can't act and physically, she doesnt look like the youngest sister. She's pretty alright looking but she still looks much older than shannen or holly
