  • I only came to watch this to see what the CC function of youtube would say he said :3

  • Thank God for Boris. FUCK LIVINGTONE THE COMMIE CUNT

  • what does he say at the end, about dogs, whe all the audience then laughs? I just cant get it

  • Boris Johnson looks like a disaster

But he is the complete opposite

  • lol he tripped

  • what next for boris, a title shot against haye?

  • What the bloody hell did Ken do for cyclists? London is an old city with remarkably small roads in places, cyclists believe they are above the highway code, they don't pay road tax and they choose whether they want to stop at traffic lights, that is why they get killed on our streets! Go Boris!

  • Stop making generalizations. I'm a cyclist and I always stop at traffic lights.

Yes, London has small roads - so you think we should ban cyclist and allow cars and lorries which are FAR bigger, cause more deaths and damage our roads and environment?

    You don't make any sense.

Most cyclist also drive cars, so they DO pay road tax. There shouldn't be a separate road tax for cycling because they do not cause damage to roads or the environment.

Should people pay road tax to walk on roads? No.

  • You might stop at traffic lights, but most cyclists do not, its a proven fact, not generalisation. I have had my arm broken by a cyclist who thought it would be a brilliant idea to skip traffic lights when I happened to be crossing. At least with a car I can be fairly sure he is going to stop.

Cyclists get injured or killed because they do not take necessary precaution, they do not use their eyes and as a result they cause or are involved in accidents.

  • "You might stop at traffic lights, but most cyclists do not, its a proven fact, not generalisation."

A proven fact? I'd LOVE to see a credible source to prove this "fact".

"I have had my arm broken by a cyclist who thought it would be a brilliant idea to skip traffic lights when I happened to be crossing."

Ahh, that explains your hate for cyclists then.

  • when i lived in london i didn't stop at traffic lights cos no cyclists did.

down here on the south coast i stop at traffic lights.

i loved the anarchy of london cycling.

  • "At least with a car I can be fairly sure he is going to stop."

I don't understand. Are you trying to tell me that a car can stop quicker than a bicycle?

Be thankful it wasn't a car that hit you or you might not be here today.

"Cyclists get injured or killed because they do not take necessary precaution, they do not use their eyes and as a result they cause or are involved in accidents."

They this, they that. Again, you're making generalizations!

  • Don't get out of your pram over this. Statistics have been presented to parliamentary select committees on this very subject. So if you would like to look through the Hansard records then you will see.

Secondly, using the words 'this' and 'they' is not generalising, they are words used to indicate an idea that has just been mentioned.

I would say my hatred towards cyclists is pretty reasonable considering the cyclist was more worried about the state of his bike after the collision than my arm.

  • How can you or anyone else possibly have proof that most cyclists ignore traffic lights?

    No statistics can prove that.

I never said "this" and "they" is generalizing. Read your comment again.

"they do not take necessary precaution"

"they do not use their eyes"

"they cause or are involved in accidents"

If that isn't generalizing then I'll eat my hat.

  • "I would say my hatred towards cyclists is pretty reasonable considering the cyclist was more worried about the state of his bike after the collision than my arm."

    Again, you're generalizing.

You're saying that your hate for cyclists is reasonable, even though it was only ONE cyclist who caused the accident.

Don't you think you're the one being unreasonable here?

  • @sweetypie000

Well Ken brought it the cyclist pulverising bendy buses, so you can thank Boris for planning to get rid of them.

  • @fodsaks how long does the muppet need for planning to get rid of them? it's been years and years. Another false promise from a politician and their kind - Boris is a liar and used the promise of immediately getting rid of the bendy buses to get his position - the same BS as Obama said about pulling troops out of Afghanistan and Iraq if he got elected. They are liars and cheats.

  • @sweetypie000

The first of the new Routemasters will be on London's roads in early 2012.

Go onto the BBC site and search for new Routemaster. They've got pictures and they do look great.

  • @fodsaks All for show and there won't be many. They have to try and show a good appeareance for the Olympics to bring in all that extra tourism cash that nobody but the Government benefit from.

Fact remains he lied about removing bendy buses and 4 years later nobody seem to care he lied in his campaign to get his position.

  • @sweetypie000

Okay, well, I guess there's no convincing you otherwise.

  • @fodsaks no there isn't. I live and was born and raised in london for starters

  • @sweetypie000

Well, you're hardly unique there. I've lived and worked in London for 20 years.

I guess we just have different outlooks.

  • Boris is just... genius, yes every politico has faults... but one that actually conects to the people is best ;]

  • booby trap, lol. He's hilarious

  • KIDS GROWING WITHOUT BOUNDRIES is his right observation.Kids r restless, lawless& more dangerous than any other threats tt is being faced by us.They know no boundries.Blame goes to the system that gives them too many chances and too much flexibilities and makes them bold to do crimes. If Boris is really true to his words, he much show practically what's been done rather than delivering fanciful speeches like Tony Blaire.Roads of London r un-safe after 9 pm, what's been done so far Mr. Johnson?

  • Do you mean 'buffoon'? If so, you're totally wrong, you semi-educated, envious pillock.

  • Buffoon I stand corrected about that but nothing else

  • Pure personality politics. At best this is fault in the voting mechanics of party-association. At worst it is a failure in the English system of democracy.

There'll be much more to come after May 2010.

  • lol! a last minute booby trap.

  • His Telegraph column is superb.... everyone should be forced to read it!

  • Hey Boris - a visitor to your city had an "experience" :I just got scammed of £190 on the April 28, 2008 at a place in Soho. They advertise a strip show for £5 I went in and asked to buy a hostess a drink at £60 and then £35 hostess fee and tax of 27.5%. I forgot how much the coke was. It came up to around £190. Me and my hostess got into the arguement.see the owner. They jotted down my passport number. Warning if you visit London...

  • Good Old Borris, he is BRILLIANT! BORRIS FOR PRIME MINISTER!

  • Boris is a Legend! Boris for mayor of the world!!! Brilliant.

  • Who says politics cant be a laugh, we need more 'daft' people like him in government, just to make the news more interesting. :)

  • Daft? You philistine.

  • good old Boris........ related to all royalty

    He's a good man

  • I love him! He is so cute!

  • what and 1-eyed gorgon is?

  • I, not British but living in England, like him very much. He doesn't give a damn for all those taboos or PC. He doesn't come across like those slick manager types but rather from the middle of the society. I wish him all the best!

  • Trust him to trip up before uttering a single word and calling it a 'boobie trap'!

  • Concentrate harder or perhaps read one of his many books.

  • norina195- Boris does have a reputation as a bit of an eccentric and joker- occasionally its got him into trouble- but its deceptive; he's actually pretty clever- and incredibly he was born in NYC

  • Legend!!!

  • I like the bit where Schwarznegger says "This guys fumbling all over the place".

    It's on another video though.

  • Why are you commenting on this video then ^o)

  • He was elected because he is a nutter and he is lovable. not for all those reasons!

  • I liked when Boris called Mayor Livingston Mayor Leavingsoon.

    It's on another video though.

  • As an Irish person living in London I would urge that the mayor ends the funding of the annual Irish parade! This might shock you (I have campaigned for this for years). The Republic of Ireland is a wealthy country now, it is immoral for us Irish to seek publc funding for our national day. The 2009 St. Patrick's Day Parade in London should go ahead, well supported and bringing joy to London - but funded by Irish companies and Irish Tourist Board. Cead Mile Failte!

  • wot a great man, i cnt vote, but i realli wanted to vote 4 him,

btw, he tripped over big time few days after,

he need a leader like him, he'l be a top man,

imagine him talking with tht wanker bush, or in international politics

  • Your name is a good idea. But Boris is too funny to bring back ken...

  • haha that bit where he trips us is hilarious

    typical boris!

  • ANARCHY

    hahahahahahaha

  • Makes a change from listening to Kens whining nasal tones...

  • Ken only cared about himself, communism and the trade unions. Millions of hard-working, over-taxed Londoners saw their council taxes rise even further so that he can create 1000's of parking attendants.

Labour have been worse than any Tory government ever was. This is the sleaziest, most corrupt, under-qualified bunch of scroungers and career-politicans ever!

Getting Ken out, was stage 1 of the revolution. Stage 2 begins whenever Brown gets the balls to call an election.

  • Too right. Livingstone was a dyed in the wool communist. I remember when he went to China and tried to compare what happened in Tiananmen Square to the Poll Tax Riots. And I don't reckon Brown will have the guts to call the election early. He'll just keep on mumbling about how he's saving the economy and the world in general until he is forced to do so in June 2010.

    Labour OUT !!

  • @naikhouse well boris has only caused the london olympics cost. the un improved transport system, encouraged the bank to fail ect ect
