Quite a sad scene this one although Julie was a horrible character, although apparently even the actress who played Julie couldn't stand the character and wanted out.

Julie was Hannahs real mother,she was Debbies step mother. But that actress was the second Julie was another actress played Julie in 1985 in around the time Des had his stag do and Daphne was the stripper.

That music takes me right back. Neighbours should commission an orchestral soundtrack composition again, but they have changed the show so dramatically that it would probably be laughed at these days unfortunately.

This brings back memories. Was it really back in 1994. Doesn't seem that long ago. I remember the scene in the hospital when Phillip Martin shouted 'no' the moment Julie passed away. Neighbours had some great characters in those days.

They dont make Neighbours as good as they used too, they can make it more modern and trendy as they can, the storylines would never be as good.
