the top part where you click it.. (where it shows all the battery and signal and the bluetooth and ringer) keeps coming up and down by itself.... idk what to do.. its so stupid. so i can not even go through my phone. because it keeps going up and down. Its hard to even txt or call or do anything... ANY ADVICE? or PLEASE HELP? P.S. The phone company in U.S.A. SUCKS TOO!

This phone is awful, and I have must as much trouble with the standard boring apps like the calendar and notes as the fancy ones. I think you've let Samsung off easy on this.

It looks to me like the only thing that the updates update is the icon images and the order unless that's something your cell company specifies.

Have you installed thew new firmware that was released about a week ago? I got a text on my loaner phone while my Instinct is away to samsung. If you have can you please post back if there was any good improvements made to it. Specifically if Google Maps or Gmail Application now works? And well any other features that have been broken such as "Uncaught Exception" for the Data services. Thanks !

there were 2 updates, 1 update to the firmware and the update that you are refferring to is just the pocket express update. neither one of them helped at all... but after completely flashinf my phone and startin from scratch I have been able able to reinstalle everything and the phone is working again... mostly. I still have random shut down's and uncaught exceptions. and other wierd things but its a lot better!

its not a negative its 3 bad phones in 3 months. its low quality control and bad software. the only thing good about the phone is that it does make calls... most of the time. whats good about a phone that nothing works but the phone. no media,no streaming video, no satelitte radio, no internet, freezing. if i just wanted a giant phone call machine i would pull out my nokia 6100 from 1998!
