Great video excited about moving there. After not having a job for two years in New York City (professor and teacher) I am looking toward rewarding experience teaching at an American school there. Commenting to the person belows who says they steal American jobs - well mate thanks to Dalian I will have a job. With tens of thousands of teachers laid off it is good to know China values us.

@tmjump96 You can blame your US government for letting companies like Apple Inc., Intel, etc. to move their factories and assembling to China, because it's cheap, less time consuming, and the result is top. Furthermore, chinese labour are not demanding higher salaries than western workers. Actually, chinese people, companies and tourists are the biggest buyers of goods and service and they bought a lot of western companies from bankruptcy. You seem like one of those "xenophobia" guys.

@SuzukiAkiraReita It is our Government fault. Also China's work conditions suck and they can through their crap anywhere. They have not as many regulations so you have problems with lead paint. China's people are to scared so they don't demand more rights or higher salaries. If you love China's products so much get your ass out of the United States because it is people like you that destroy this amazing country.

@tmjump96 I'm not even in the US, lol. And everything you are using right now i.e. keyboard and computer is probably made in China anyway! Have you looked before? Chinese people aren't scared at all, they just think it's unnecessary to call for a "2nd tiananmen square protest" if their life and shitty salary has improved 10 times more than 20-30 years ago. And yes, work conditions aren't the best but it still counts as a developing country and not a developed country like US, think again.

It's your government and politial system that's fucking up your own country. Although I'm not a big fan, I recommend you to watch Zeitgeist and I.O.U.S.A.

Damn, China's rapid development is astounding. I was there one year ago in a southern port city and visit that same place one year later , almost 10 new skyscrapers (60+ levels) popped up within a little district, corporate this corporate that, hundreds of billions of dollars right there within a tiny 1 killometers distance.

tell that to the korean too. they also eat dogs .its part of the tradition. 3 months ago,the chinese government pass a law which prohibited eating dogs. break the law and one could be sentence to prison for 3 months or pay fine of 10.000 euro.the law will not work in northern area where korean minorities live. they will make sure the law will not make it locally. search on google about this law. it was on european news channel

Just great man, just great...I go to Silicon Valley here in America and all the IT jobs are all field up by China man. I come back to Dalian, China to see, wait a minute...damn what the Hell, even more Chinese.

I am impressed by the rapid rise of china in the world. One senses intelligent direction: a cultural revolution opposite the previous. One still sees, however, grey air and restricted information access. Perhaps even these are necessary for the time being, the general heavy-handedness (in western eyes) as well, but the bidirectional exposure imposed by the Beijing Olympics will change the entire world.

Now if China and India could cross-fertilize, a balanced pairing: a brighter human future...
