I soo wish I could shave off my head!! But I risk losing my job if I show up work w/ a shaved head. Sad but true.. I'm all for freedom and equality, BUT I'm a single mom.. college and a mortgage. Reality is... I have 2 pay 4 a roof over my son's head & my son's academic future. Ive looked for other forms of income and I found places that are paying about $15k - $20k less that what I earn. I just can't take that pay cut.

So with all this said, I commend you in standing up and freeing urself. = )

@SpamAnn - basically to spite the 'fake face' that we hide behind within our self this including hair, so in essence spiting the beauty system within us by shaving our heads and being totally out there, we face ourselves no more hiding.
