  • Ouch this song hurts a bit..... miss you Rambo

  • These were the good days wish I was born during that time period of the best music in the world im jealous of my grandpa but it still good to listen to the songs. My granpa says the music nowadays is crappy you hum the song you can't hum a rap song but you can hum a country song what the hell happened to music not only country music but all the others

  • Beautiful...........

  • Super song...

  • I love this song. one of the best.

  • i love this man

  • Im going to sing this song to my dadd .

  • wertuio

  • I woke up last nite thinking of this song

  • This song makes me miss my daddy. I haven't seen him since my mother died, three years ago. It's so sad, it makes me cry. George Jones was one of the greatest.

  • Aww i sing this song to my daddy and he crys .. I sang this song even before this came out i made it .. Love ya daddy

  • This song still makes me cry. My daddy was a dead ringer for george jones and my dad use to go off on drinkin binges and he said this song made him think of me. My daddy passed away last year and this song means the world to me. I love you daddy.

  • GEORGE JONES has 1 other daughter(Susan) and 2 sons(Jeffrey and Bryan, I heard GEORGE say one time, that his sons won't talk to him, how sad !! It is awesome that GEORGETTE AND GEORGE worked their problems out before it was to late !!! thanks for the video,

  • ah Tamala Georgette Jones. oh you are so like your mom Tammy and your dad.

  • i totally forgot about this song.never heard it on the radio , but had a millitary buddy, who boo hooed to this song missing his daughter

  • this song was one of my dads favorite songs. 7-22-11 would have been his 61st bday.

  • beautiful!!

  • so lovely

  • who dislikes a video like this!?

  • those wer the days.. crap..i mean rap..and gaga what a srewd up mess now a days

  • that poor girl she looks just like old possum. Haha. This is a great video. Thanks for uploading. Reminds me when country had soul.

  • Very nice!(:

  • very beautyful song

  • So cute

  • this gives me chills =-)

  • Sweet daughter and a nice combo of father and daughter. Nice.

  • made me tear up a bit just thinking of my sweet little girl.. i hope she will want to sing with her daddy someday!

  • Did Tammy & George stay friends? Does anybody know?

  • @43patbelle yesir theay still sing togher from what i can see

  • Look at Tammy in the backgroung. This is the same show where George sang "He stopped loving her today" and Tammy started to cry on stage. I have the VHS somewhere!

  • How can eight people dont like this???????

  • Absolutely fabulous! So good to see this again!

  • Gosh this is so beautiful......so real the love between the Father and Daughter....reminds me of my relationship with my Dad.....

  • Thats love .

  • Vvery good! His daughter is very cute and a really decent singer for her age! But what can I see, she learnin' from one of the best!.

  • is george toasted ?

  • @tarotimes Certainly. That's what made him so special

  • My goodness man !

  • You can feel the love!!!

  • No one like him

  • Denne er bare helt nydelig ;-))

  • This one broke my heart but little girls and women do that to me. Later on Georgette Jones tried to sing with Roseanne Cash, Patsy Lynn and someone else. I forgot her name. They called themselves The Next Generation but were not able to connect musically.

  • Makes you smile and cry at the same time. It shows the whole human condition in 2:54 minutes. Brilliant! I love it!

  • awesome

  • She can't sing, this is pathetic exploitation. The great George Jones does not need to stoop to this level.

  • @ashuk1000 Take your hate somewhere else, loser!

  • @ashuk1000 How far would you "stoop" for your child? I think George Jones just wanted to sing with his little girl and she sang fine to me.

  • were was George from?

  • @rush61ful Saratoga, Texas

  • You can just see how proud he is of her with that great big ol smile on his face.

  • he kinda looks like an older Jim Carrey in a way

  • eh, she's not too good. Love George though.

  • What a treat...loved it!

  • omg this made me cry...great job

  • this is a very nice video. Whenever you get the chance, come and visit my channel, there i sang some conwy and other songs

    keep up the good work

  • I love it.

George has the greatest voice ever, and why not show off his daughter. She has a lovely voice too. No exploitation here. I would do the same if I was in George's shoes.

    Thanks George You're the MAN

  • OHHHHHHHHH MY.Beautifulllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll

  • his is my moms song when she was a littel girl like 9 her mom and dad got duvorsed and this song helped her get throw it all

  • She is like a deer caught in the headlights. This is painful to watch.

George Jones is a musical genius, but by his own admission was a terrible husband and father. To trot his child out on stage like this despite her total lack of singing ability is just exploitation.

  • I wouldn't call it exploitation. In George's eyes his daughter is the most talented girl in the world, so why wouldn't he want to show her to everyone? Sure he's said he was a terrible husband and father but this is just his way of showing everyone that he really loves her.

  • Georgette is a grown woman today and has plenty of talent! After all she is George's and Tammy Wynettes Daughter!

  • Georgette is in good voice here at age 10 and is in even better voice today at the age she is now. Your Mom's Tammy Wynette and Your Daddy's George Jones: You don't escape the powerful voice from those kinds of genes !

  • Hard to watch without making a smile come to my face the way you can see his love for her . Its sweet

  • @Sartak1977 that was one of the corniest i ever saw!!!! lol dont use your littl girl to do prommmmmos

  • @odinstheboy777 dont fucking diss george jones

  • this is so sweet i just love it

    ..

  • george is the man. this is when country was worth listening to.

  • I never knew,Thank you

  • this is so sweet. you can tell he thinks the world of his little girl!

  • what a totally dumbass comment. FAS can only be passed to a child by the drinking mother. Not the father.

Apparently you know more big words than you have ability to understand.

  • some artist transcend their genre , george is one

  • She looks just like him... Im not too familiar with the history of George Jones but did he have his daughter with Tammy or his other wife?

  • i wanna know the same things.

  • He had his daughter with Tammy. Tammy said that the marriage between her and George didnt last because of his drinking problem. I just watched the Documentary today....

  • I'm guessing then thats why she made that song Divorce and I dont wanna play house

  • This is the child of Tammy and George .

  • Thanks for sharing this video

    Cheers from Belgium

    Eric - Studio ChinChan

  • How sweet tks

  • she is a little possum. too cute.

  • iFF YOU don;t like georg jones ,you;re a pinko communist rat.

  • tooooo sweet!!!!

  • Oh my, what a treasue! My father and grand father both passed away in the same year. This is definetly one of those tear jerkers. The song is perfect and many blessings to all of our fathers that have gone home to God.

  • Yes we have YouTube!

  • How Precious...

  • The old LP's wear out, and then many classics are lost. I had 3 Lps of this guy.

You won't find them again. All Old Country. I must have had 50. You treasure them, and sombody else thows them away like garbage.

  • I wish I could restore them for you. It must be horrible. You can't replace that original vinyl. But at least we got youtube.

  • German label Bear-Family-Records just released 2 restrospective collections. Google for mailorder service.

  • yes that is for sure tammy wynette at 1.16

  • My daddy and I sang this song in the backyard starting when I was about 4. It stuck with me! Daddy has been gone for almost 8 years now. George Jones brings back the sweetest memories I have of Daddy. Daddy was a truck driver for many years and this music brought him home, and still does today. Thank you Mr. Jones...... You keep him alive in my heart!!!!!

  • Love to hear storys like this

    Glad you have good memories

    May they last for ever

  • Comment removed

  • don't be so stupid fool. the song was made twenty years ago. it sounds almost as good live as she did on the record

anyway clown, the greatest singer in history,, of any genre, doesn't need publicity

  • Brought a tear to my eye!

  • this great

  • Great.

  • That was so sweet.

  • What a great video. George sure has the sense of showbuisiness. Whatever happened in his personnal life, George will be remembered as a ''LEGEND''. No matter what people think!

  • Does anyone have the video of Georgette and George doing the song Golden Rings? I believe they sang it several times back a few years ago (Georgette has grown up and sings real pretty...what a brave little girl she was in this one) Precious

  • Thanks for posting this video!! I use to sing it with my DADDY when I was a little girl, listening to it on an eight track. About 25 years ago. TKX!!!!!

  • i had a hat like that when I was kid! lol

  • I have one like it NOW!. LOL

  • if this song don't send chills down your spine, there's something seriously wrong. i have loved this song since the first time i heard it thirty some years ago

  • amen

  • This video was made while Tammy was still living - in fact my guess is Georgette was somewhere around 20 or so when her mom died. I don't know anything about his children with other wives. George has helped his daughter a lot with her career which is nice. Thanks for posting. - Paula

  • I went to school and was friends with Georgette, she was 28 when her mother passed away.

  • Actually, she would have been 27. Her birthday is in October and her mother died in April.

  • Actually, she would have been 27 years and 5 months and 29 days old.

  • 27 years 5 months and 32 days. 31 days if you dont count April 6th as a full day.

  • haha you are cracking me up!! Then that means that I was closer to her age in the beginning than you were. So it was 6 months and 1 day!! Hahaha, I win!

  • Ah, touche'. I neglected to remember that 31 days adds up to another month. However, I had the days right, so I win. Good game, friend.

  • Well, I will give you this one. Props to you!! -your friend.

  • :) Yes! *pumps arm* lol---Friend

  • I dont usually comment on other peoples

opinions some words spoken on here are

    just mean

I do believe tho you should clean out your own

    closets before entering someone elses

  • Oh for crying out loud, I love George, but he is trying to use her to keep Tammy...she can't carry a tune in a bucket...he just feels bad for his no shows, and yes, he is fine now. Thank the good Lord.Alcohol sure spun him out. He loved that Tammy Wynette a lot...good vid. Oh, she loved him, but not his booze.

  • Not to mention her drug habit. Funny its always the mans fault when women are just as much to blame.

  • I remember when that first aired. Now that I have my own little girl it moves me in a whole new way.

  • I love that song. Thanks for posting the video.

  • This is a super video*****`S

  • Beautiful posting. I really enjoyed it. I think she looks like George even though everyone seems to say she has eyes like Tammy. I think she looks like George myself. He looks very proud of his daughter. Tammy looks very sad, when they show her for a second. I bet they all wished it had worked out for them as a family.
