@Raptor302 Oil does not come from dead dinosaurs. Basic oil is Hydrogen and Carbon (H18C36). It is formed using heat and pressure. During WWII the Germans developed the technology to make oil, however at that time, the energy used to make oil was more the energy obtained from using the oil as a fuel.

Uh, sorry but you are incorrect. That is bad science. Oil is not made from biomass. It's not a by product of dead fossil fuels. Oil is rather a complex chemical formula of Hydrogen and Carbon that is formed using heat and pressure. Oil does not require millions of years to make. Oil can be made in a good lab. The amount of oil used makes it cheaper to drill for oil then to produce it in labs. Anyone can write a story for Wikipedia.It does not mean they are correct.
