You want change? Be the change and others will follow...

  • go green

  • @vinnynotice Oil is not exactly green. But if it came in green i ould use it. :)

  • another new york movie. yawn.

  • very good video

  • "Alleged dinosaurs"?

LOL I know this is a spoof, but there are people really like that. You know, the ones that sell oil but don't know where it comes from...

  • @Raptor302 Oil does not come from dead dinosaurs. Basic oil is Hydrogen and Carbon (H18C36). It is formed using heat and pressure. During WWII the Germans developed the technology to make oil, however at that time, the energy used to make oil was more the energy obtained from using the oil as a fuel.

  • @frio109 Okay, maybe not directly from dinosaurs but millions of years worth of dead organisms.

  • @Raptor302

You are thinking of coal. Oil is not produced from dead biologicals.

  • @frio109 Oil is formed from ancient dead biomass. Hence the reason it is known as a "fossil fuel". That's why it is nonrenewable and why it takes millions of years to form.

    en.wikipedia. org/wiki/Petroleum#cite_note-15

  • @Raptor302

Uh, sorry but you are incorrect. That is bad science. Oil is not made from biomass. It's not a by product of dead fossil fuels. Oil is rather a complex chemical formula of Hydrogen and Carbon that is formed using heat and pressure. Oil does not require millions of years to make. Oil can be made in a good lab. The amount of oil used makes it cheaper to drill for oil then to produce it in labs. Anyone can write a story for Wikipedia. It does not mean they are correct.

  • @frio109 Perhaps you can give me a link for your claim? Like I said FOSSIL fuel for a reason. It take millions of years to make it naturally and in large quantities. If we could mass produce oil then we wouldn't still be drilling for it or be worried about it running out.

  • @Raptor302

Sorry Raptor but oil is not a fossil fuel. Do you think Titan was covered in dinosaurs?

Go to Nasa's mission to Saturn's moon Titan

  • @frio109 Different processes on different bodies. Earth has a biosphere which brings with it a different set of rules.

    petroleum. co. uk/formation/

  • @frio109

Raptor youtube was not allowing the web page. so I will change it some what.

    3w's then nasa.gov/mission_pages/cassini/media/cassini-20080213.html

  • @frio109 "The abiogenic origin theory of oil formation is rejected by most geologists, who argue that the composition of hydrocarbons found in commercial oil fields have a low content of 13C isotopes, similar to that found in marine and terrestrial plants; whereas hydrocarbons from abiotic origins such as methane have a higher content of 13C isotopes."

  • why is it the first guy speaking on this video Reminds me of all the Republicans Running for mid term,God let's make sure they Don't get in,i think we need to get the rest out of office like joe barton the one who said i am sorry to BP Thats Something i will never forget and it Really shows the Republican View of things,Fu-k people,Fu-k the earth MONEY MONEY MONEY PROFIT PROFIT PROFIT.

    "I don't like that, because it's true!"

  • You don't even get a first chance with me. That's life.

  • I only went to see the movie because Shia Labeouf. and i relly like the movie

  • Great message, great video...love Gordon!!!!!

  • Green is good! good job on video

  • I just followed dresdenworth on twitter, the tweets will change your life soon

  • I am so glad Michael Douglas is dying from stage 4 throat cancer.

  • @JuanMacready Maybe you´ll have cancer some day in the future, would you like people to wish you death?? Michael Douglas is a great actor. I don´t know what he possibly could have done to make you hate him so. I mean, have you even met the man?

  • ............... it literally isn't and wasn't that bad. however i get what you mean trying to get at but the gulf oil spill is litirally nothing! 15 years ago a oil tanker crashed and spilled oil just 1 mile away from the coast 15 years later the whole beach has recovered all life has recoved and the only evidence is the oil underneeth the top sand which is harmless as it is

  • @BenThomasFoster You idiot, nothing comes close to the recent bp spill. You stupid ignorant americans swallow lies with a spoon of sugar. Obama's administration +their media circus reduced the percepion of the spill severity. Recent scientific study shows 2300 species have been severly impacted. Morons

  • saaaaaad

  • THta was really bright.

  • single thing green in this word is MANYYYYYYYYYYYYY$

  • @LatrauG11 money or many?... i think u meant money...lol

  • 73 agents of Illuminati have disliked this video

  • @CamNM1991 Actually the organizations, mega corporations, the elite, the ones you call "illuminati" have a win win situation in both circumstances, you see that know how to benefit from both ways, whether it is a greener planet or whether it is a filthy one, how you say they gain something from green? easy, I will share one simple example with you, three words "global warming tax" one of the ways they benefit from this is by taxing for every mile that you will drive. That is only the beginning..

  • "Climate change is a liberal lie for Earth government." - RIDICULOUS STATEMENTS LIKE THIS IS WHY AMERICA IS SO FUCKED.

  • @painfultone In the 70s up to now we have made a switch from analog to digtiel

for the most part that is a good thing but now days everything is thrown away when broke where it use to be repair

  • Mr. Burns will not say "...eeexcellent..."

  • GREEN IS GOOD [FOR BUSINESS]. Let's not forget that whole produce costs more than a boxed or bottled or plastic wrapped item using whole produce. If they force everyone to go green, and i am all for going green i am just making a point, then they can, have, and will continue to jack prices sky high, making it nearly impossible to go green in the first place! The class running the world is whack.

  • Oliver Stone is my dad's cousin

  • 60 people love oilspills

  • Green is good. Now it seems that green is just a color.

  • How does one turn a 5L V8 into a green car?

  • @internet155 Paint job

  • green is big buisness

  • Cynicism often stems from denial! Being a skeptic forfeits all responsibility and finds an excuse to the problem! I think however is aimed at being a lot more comedic than you realize!

  • Skepticism stems from denial! You guys ignore the problems by being condescending towards environmentalism. This is not a solution! Wake up people this is real! This clip however was aimed at being more comedic than you realize.

  • ??? @ddorothy @2:56 - The actual line is "Greed, for lack of a better word, is good" also @3:25. Also: /watch?v=7upG01-XWbY

  • @ddorothy coward, not "cowered" ... and "tree-hugging" should be hyphenated when used as an adverb...

  • @1800Recycling money is good for the individual. a self serving individual has no place in a union of team workers. no place for a community or society. that type of green is poisonous you pathetic emotionally driven simple brain having animal

  • everyone need some green ;)

  • Great skit.... but horrible acting... Especially "Gordon". His acting sucks!

  • This looks really good, hope it's awesome like the original movie

  • Green is good. Too bad the world is full of greedy, money-hungry people. Even worse is the average person who just doesn't give a shit about the earth in general.

  • Wall Street 2 was sooooooooooooooo boring.

  • @kthankxbye Why was that then? No big bangs or car chases....

  • @kthankxbye Maybe it would stay interesting if it wasnt so damn long !

  • @flamepimp Or if Shia was naked the intire movie =)

  • People have to change their way of living, we can't just all start driving electric cars and be like oh yay everything is better. Big companies buy new ideas of new kinds of cars, electricity, etc. They try and control everything...

  • @Salieri325 you have to realize, green means using resources intelligently and its a controlled use. u mentioned pre-industrial coal facilities being reused and that is just not true. u failed to realized the upward trend in researching cleaner, more efficient methods of generating electricity, such as nuclear power. u're the stupid one for having such a negative out look and thinking u must fight the oppression of the bourgeoisie.

  • @BennechC Green does not mean using resources intelligently. Green is a COMMERCIAL term employed by corporations as an emotively charged concept which distracts us from the unethical processes of competition and trade and focuses instead on the pithy and unrealistic "goal." Nuclear energy is not stable and is certainly not sustainable you fucking twat. The mere fact that you actually believe that proves that you're little more than a tool in their game of mental masturbation.

  • @Salieri325 omg such harsh words >.>. alright i do admit my own ignorance on clean and sustainable energy. and i do see ur point in corporations coining the word "green" and their control over how we use our energy. And perhaps i may have become a tool in their game of *cough*. i have yet to do research so i'm not 100% convinced, but you do make a good point. just please tone down on your language. i already feel somewhat defeated, so ur added language inputs don't make me feel any better. -___-

  • @Salieri325 btw, ur an anarchist of some sort right? or communist? (don't mean that in any negative connotation, just asking for ur political philosophy)

  • @BennechC You're right. I was rude, and I am way too competitive, and I shouldn't have been hostile towards you. You were not entirely wrong yourself; we just conflict on some points. Although I don't like political titles, you are correct. I do consider myself a "theoretical" Marxist, but in reality I also recognize that it is almost impossible to be an actual Marxist in a contemporary setting.

  • @BennechC Again I apologize for being rude, but in order to explain my rudeness I would point out that because of my Marxist upbringing I was also heavily influenced by the Hegelian concept of “the dialectic,” or the violent clash of ideas to form new more developed concepts. So we have learned from one another today. I have learned to be less rude to people and you have learned that not all Marxists are evil. :) I did appreciate your response, it helped me put things in perspective.

  • @BennechC You’ve already proved my point. Corporations want us to think that “green” is equal to the “way” in which we consume resources when in reality those of us who are philosophically and scientifically inclined know that the ONLY solution is to NEGATE the NEED and NECESSITY and DEPENDANCE upon corporate gluttony and consequently our RELIANCE on perishable resources. Control is the exact opposite of what we need. What we need is to be freed from the tyranny of stupidity…

  • @BennechC If we really want to create a new form of energy that is ACTUALLY sustainable then corporations would be funding scientific pursuits in the field of particle theory and photonic energy. The latest and most cutting edge research in TRUE scientific research towards an ACTUAL goal is going on at CERN. Corporations clearly don't want us to know about actual sustainable energy seeing as it cuts them out of the bottom line... permanently...

  • Gerard where is your cigar? Great job!

  • Your video makes many valid points, but who would be put in charge of the program to make sure ALL is following the standard? The government? Well, the governments are controlled by the campaign contributing corporations. What would eventually happen is the commom people would be enforced to comply while the corporations skirt the new regulations. Just as they do now. So, would it be effective as a whole for the nation in helping our enviroment? I don't know, but I won't hold my breath.

  • charlie sheen should b in it again

  • GREEN IS GOOD!

  • @e6nyc GREEN IS GOOD!

  • @e6nyc
