i know i said andrenalize and songs from the sparkle lounge were good but i was being too tolerable, i've changed my mind they are shit guys dont listen to them, yeah the solos off their latest album are ok but i would never buy it i hate their new sound its gay and revisting andrenalize was actually quite painful. isnt really great. On through the night, high n dry, pyromania are the real def leppard, u guys are the best if u think the same

For older Leppard fans I would suggest "Run Riot", "Excitable" and "Don't shoot shotgun". Those are still pretty raw.

HND is one my favorite albums of all time. It's hard to believe that this is the same DL, as on those later, SUCKY albums. (Although those later albums are missing some members, and limbs). Even on this earlier release, DL had more commercial leanings, than other NWOBHM bands such as Maiden or Saxon. But that doesn't stop this record from KICKING ASS!! The guitar playing is absolutely ridiculous. The duel guitar riffs and solos of Willis & Clark, deliver a relentless assault from begin to end

That riff at 2:30 rocks! Sounds alot like Maiden at the time. The first 3 Lep albums rocked hard. Not sure why they changed the sound, but oh well. If thats what they wanted to do, then so be it.
