After living in both areas and playing in both scenes, I can say that there are definitely better bands in Iowa than in Kansas City. You just have to go to eastern Iowa to find them. There are actually very few "Slipknot rip off" bands in Iowa. Besides that point, any band in Iowa is better than the nu metal Evanescence rip off that is Odius.
This is a band of cousins and I happen to also be one of their cousins. I live in KC, too. They are the greatest local band I know, and hopefully, they'll get big and get national and maybe worldwide attention. I know KC, Nebraska, and Missouri already know who they are, so I hope they get attention from the north, east, south, and west coasts soon.

evanescence rip off? really? you suck. iowa sucks, even eastern iowa. kc is the only half decent scene in the midwest. Odius was real and origional
