A few comments:

In the lyrics posted by submadkicdar, the last word in the third line should be maduhida, and not maduhita

Nagemogadarasane (a prince or king with smiley face) is the correct word. NAGEMOGADHARANE is not accurate and the usage is awkward.

The original has at least one more stanza that ends with:

Bhimsen Joshi popularized this song in Bheempalasi sung in Hindustani tradition.

The Purundara Krithis will have usually some patantharas i.e.some difference in text or some words or sentences. In this the word NAGEMOGADHARANE is sung as NAGEMOGADARASANE also.

Incidentally Revathi raga suits better than Yaman Kalyani for this kriti

Just one correction. When Madhurali( Madhura = sweet), Madhurelayi (In Madhure city)

Sodara Mavana Madhureyali Madugida, Yashoda Nandana ni baaro.

She sings "Raagi Tandira" in Revati it is also amazing..

Karnatic Music was not invented by Purandara Daasa. He only reformed it for easy learning. Both Hindusthani and Karnatic music have the same origin. With advent of Moghuls the style has acquired a distinction which we see in Hindusthani Music of today.

It shows the greatness of Sri Purandara Daasa, the founder of Karnataka Music. His compositions are adoptable to different raagas including that used in Hindustani. Pandit Bhimsena Joshiji has sung this in Hindustani. Again great Job by Vidushi Bombay Jayasree. No Karnatatic AKA Carnatic music concert is complete without Kannada compositions.

purandaradasa was not the founder of karnatic music. He just organised it better. Karnatic music is even older than hindustani and other forms of classical music.
