I feel deeply sorry for the families of all those lost in the terrible plane disaster recently. Their families are in a safe and happy place now, they will meet again, but they will, in the mean time, always look down and protect those still living. The sons and daughters, the wives, husbands and parents all are still loved by them even though they're not here - I know it may not seem like it, but the love you all felt before need not disappear, again I'm so sorry, x,x,x. Yeah go ahead and blame the speed sensors. I'm sure after you get them all fixed this won't happen again. Only it wouldn't happen again regardless because it happened this time on purpose!

Air France pilots missing high speed pitot heat, GPS speed cross-referencing and possibly inertial guidance readings all at the same time is very unlikely. Even with incorrect pitot readings, excessive pitch and banking feedback would have been a tell-tale sign.

At least the news services have quit the "hit by lightning" rap after several days of real investigation.
