i love camp maitou i just got back from it and last year i went it was awesome did u hear in the paper about those 3 kids who are being tested cuz the swine flu and they just got back back from camp manitou? well i'm really sad cuz they might have to close down for a while
i was just there. i thought it was so cool. although it was raining mostly the whole time. and i got like a million or so musquito bites/ they itch like crazy. apart from that it was so cool. and i am so begging my parents to let me go there this summer.

Hey, that is cool. I wonder which job is better, have you asked anyone? I would imagine the "kitchen" staff has more of a reall schedule for waking up, etc. "Maintenance" is probably more intense labor, but at your own pace. You can all continue your friendships and get paid for it. That is cool. Great experience. I heard that there are some boys that can't get to sleep after the scary stories told this year. Some that can't return to camp. LOL
I went to Camp Manitou in the 70's and 80s. I can't imagine what we would have come up with, but this video is really cool and a wonderful memory for Bartingale Cabin to have. It's also a privilege that you all had such awesome counselors in the cabin. I am sure that it is the last year for some of the boys who have gone for 8 years in a row. Good luck, Guys! Cool Video! You totally GET what Camp is about! Hope to see you as counselors in the future! Your parents should be proud!

We used to beg our counselor for the scary stories..(back then we had just one counselor per cabin!)...
That was part of the fun. There must have been some pretty good stories this year!
