@erwinio007 definately not. he will need a high torqe turntable. you cant scratch with a 1 kg force!

@DeeJayTingle i dont know about that. I had numark ttx 1's which have way more torqe than technics. I bought myself some technics last week (which i should of done in the first place 3 years ago) and tech's are much easier to scratch on becuase there is much less torqe than the ttx1's. It just feels smoother and a lot lighter and easier to throw the platter where you want it. Less resistance can be a good thing.
