  • even though shere khan only sang one line, this counts as his villain song just because its so badass

  • shit the bass at the end is absoutlutely impossible im a pretty good baritone but he far outmatches me

  • i love the bass at the end. :D

  • I love singing along to this and hitting the low C with Shere Khan.

  • Oh fuck me Shere Khan at the end. Jesus Christ that was epic.

  • It is really a shame that Shere Khan's song got cut from this, eh?

  • for so many years i actually thought this was the beatles....then i read the credits.... but there still good. AND ALMOST ALL OF THEM ARE TENORS. :D

  • -claps- bravo, bravo~

  • Best song ever!

  • actually its a c2

  • @r3mo7 I knew it was a C, I just didn't know which so I said 1.

  • 1:51 give that man a medal

  • @danAWESOMEcollier I would but he is deceased.

  • Beatles ?

  • "Never met an animal we didn't like." What about Shere Khan...?

  • I was really surprised when my dad told me they were meant to be the beatles! Now watching it now I can't believe I didn't see it.

  • Every time this songs epicness makes me shiver .. every time

  • this song scared me when I was a kid, still scares me now haha I have no idea why

  • Always loved this song. Great bass by the tiger!

  • "We need a tenor"

All except for Tony Robinson vulture are tenors!

  • i love this part 00:50 !!

  • KHAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!

  • awwww...hows the name of that kind of musical group?

  • @yksnimus barbershop quartet? a cappella? i think

  • @yksnimus: they were meant for the beatles--george, john, paul, & ringo--hence the looks, but the famous band backed out last-minute, so a barbershop quartet sound was used, trying to replicate the beatles' style

  • If only the Beatles agreed to do the voices ... that would have been amazing :3

  • never met a creature we didnt like ...

let me introduce u to Shere Khan

  • is da beatles! aww

  • @roxmysoxify Disney was actually talking to the beatles to do this song but they declined

  • @obarlao thats mean. they so shoulda

  • @roxmysoxify Well the beatles wanted to do it but they had a sceduling confilct

  • They're grrrrreat!

  • every time Shere Khan sings i'm thinking "he won't make it, no way he can hit that note - OMFM HE DID IT!" love it

  • @AustralianHPfan Omgosh, SHERE KHAN I LOVE YOU!

  • best part: 1:52-end

  • I Love that the lyrics to this whole song are a punny play on how a vulture really is.

When you're alone, who comes around to pluck you up.

When your lost in dire need, they're at your side at lightning speed.

They never met an animal they didn't "LIKE*" (for dinner)

    Hahah! Love it!

  • Shere Khan made my bowels explode... with delight.

  • creeper 0:30

  • this made voltures appealing for kids.

  • I think this guys are based on the beatles

the bold one is paul, the blonde one john

    the red haired is george

and the one that has its eyes covered is ringo

  • @NLopezValenzuela Yess! I'm not alone! XD

  • love ther harmonics

  • I think Shere Kahn should get that Mowgli out of his head and start pursuing a singing career

  • sher khan sings 5 words in this movie and he's still the best singer in it!

  • fairplay this scene fucking scared me when i was a child.

  • @jeessiccaax Me too. The vultures in general just creeped me out lol

  • @PalerLaze glad i'm not the only one. lmao. they were horrible! the rain scene in bambi was creepy too. or is that just me?

  • "C'mon kid, we need a Tenor!"

You suppose they'd accept a girl Tenor? Because I've always wanted to sing a ceppella with a group of vultures parodying the Beatles. ;p

  • @MissStar091995 The Vultures were originally supposed to be played by the Beatles but because scheduling conflicts (and a not-so-pleased reaction from Lennon) they ended up not doing. Other than that ME TOOO i love these birds :)

  • The Beatles were unavailable at the time

  • BRAVO, BRAVO!!

  • That was amazing.

  • Heh heh... they said "at lightning speed", and just then it lightninged... :)

  • @olivelee1 -- good observation, the national guard needs people like you! ... :)

  • now thats a bass note, god damn

  • @kayin72 I must say ! This is George Sanders!

  • rip the actor who played sher khan amazing voice wow

  • They need a Tenor?! Nearly all Tenors!

  • @ardman7878

    yeah, and Mogli isn't even a tenor, he's a boy soprano =P

  • @ardman7878 actually, theyre altos. not tenors. theres a differance :)

  • @roxmysoxify nah they're defo tenors. I think they meant to say 'we need a treble kid', alto is higher than tenor by a noticeable amount.

  • @ardman7878 Exactly :D

  • 5 people don't have any friend

  • Nobody comes around all my friends go 2 different middle skools :( Miss them so much nd the ones i have now i still dnt see the ones i have now nd they dnt accept me cuz i like different things... so what there not REAL friends

  • "Bravo! Bravo!"

  • i just realized that they modeled the vultures and their song after the beatles...coool :)

  • @1085robbie yeah they were suppose to be the beatles, but then they changed it to barbershop quartet, the beatles version sounds waaaay different

  • Ok, I was smiling and snickering throughout most of it, remembering this scene from long ago, then, when Shere Khan started singing, I BURT OUT LAUGHING! Literally, I have tears going down my cheeks! lol It was better than I remembered it!

  • @MoniquekinDell the best disney film by miles my favourite parts are - When baloo comes dancing in a skirt when king loui is singing i wanna be like you the lyrics are priceless. These birds arguing about what they wanna do. The fight against baloo and shere khan especially when khan suddenly turns around and shouts GET OFF ME YOU BIG OAFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm in tears laughing everytime I watch Jungle Book

  • ya @MetallixKaren i totally agree! its kinda creepy

  • Wow... Shere Khan's one awesome bass!

  • two things: First who else knew that the part of the vulteres was origianally written with The Beatles in mind. Also does anybody know the note the Sher Kahn actually hits when he is done?

  • @obarlao The note at the end is a C1 which is very impressive.

  • @obarlao I believe it's a C# 1

  • @24eGardian I mean C# 2

  • best song... of all time.

  • real meaning of friendship right there

  • They used to scare the hell out of me :-L

  • five people have no friends to sing to them!

  • wow, what harmony!!!!

  • his voice doesnt stop getting deeper! if i could do that i would be a happy panda

  • O_o zomg it is the beatles how did i never notice that before and Shere kahn scares me

  • did u know that to cool down, vultures urinate and stuff, down they legs....and he just touched their talons.......where its been....for probably a while XD

  • Love Sher Khan!!!!

  • "in fact weve never met an animal we didnt like"......lol. its funny cause theyre vultures. xD

  • that's whhhhhhaaaaatttttttt fffrrrrrriiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeeennnndddddds aaaaaaaree ffffffooooooooooooorrrrrr. What a voice sher khan

  • Shere khan on that low low C/C# amazing

  • @GtrPlyr1990 C not C#

  • @Gdigger10 This is a C#. The original VHS version is a C.

  • @curleybyrd oh i had VHS

  • @GtrPlyr1990 Meeeeee ow!

  • @GtrPlyr1990 That's George Sanders for ya. He was an amazing actor back in those days

  • Shere Khan owns so hard.

  • its the beatles

  • love Shere Khan

  • 1:18 - 1:26 always gave me chills, to this day.

  • - the cold part about mowgli having Voltures as "friends" , is that if shere khan would have killed mowgli , they wouldve ate there "friends" leftovers .

  • @AnOldSoul45 That's called Fridge Horror.

  • @2wingo - - I've never heard that term before so I just googled it to find out what it means , and I have to agree with you Lol. You are right . I guess I was thinking to hard . But It's true lol

  • Sher Khan's voice.....ooooh boy!!

  • I think my neighbour hates me

  • love it!!

  • 1:09-1:22

    my fav-part

those where the golden days of Disney

    and

i would've been scared shitless if i heard Shere Khans bass-voice, and maybe run like never before

  • How the hell does Shere Kahn get his voice that low @_@ AWESOME

  • Man that George Sanders had a range on him.

  • True fact: The guy who did Shar Khan's voice is also the record holder for the lowest note ever sung.

  • @MonsterInMe2000 No,that is not a true fact. George Sanders did the singing voice Shere Khan and Timothy Storms is the lowest voice in music and has been since 2003. If it either Thurl Ravenscroft or JD Sumner you were thinking of,you are mistaken.

  • @smgamer1 Actually, according to Wikipedia, Bill Lee did the singing voice.

  • @KBAFourthtime It is wrong. George Sanders did the singing. I listened to him sing on the soundtracks of some of his movie and on his album he recorded in 1958. . Also Wikipedia corrected its mistake on its page about one of his old friends,Thurl Ravenscroft. It says these words "In the latter,he is often mistaken for having been the singing voice of Shere Khan at the end of That's what friends are for. George Sanders, who was an accomplished singer did both singing and speaking for Shere Khan.

  • that tiger is a legend!

  • lol Shere Khan's face when he sings "aaaarrrreeeee foooooooorrrr" really low

  • Man this was nice to listen too :) One of the few Disney songs that doesn't irritate me ; also one of the very first Disney films I saw when I was kid along with the sword in the stone :D

  • Those four vultures remind me of the Beatles and they kinda resemble them too ;D Then again that's not surprising as this was made in the 60's :)

  • @Damocles178 Disney did that on purpose. The beatles were supposed to do their voices. But they ended up canceling or not showing up so they had to get some other people to do it. They were real good though.

  • @alexisrg7: You mean in a battle for HAM? Because that's what it would be.

  • Now I know what they mean by a heart melting base. Oh. be still my heart. I wish the base section of my choiral sounded like Shere Khan.

  • man i would not fuck around with shere kahn...not even for the baddest babe around

  • And I thought I had a deep voice.

  • Shere Khan friggin' rocks *snickers*

  • Seeing the soft side of Shere Khan.

  • Lovely.

  • They should have given him a villain song. That would have been cool. :)

Thanks for uploading the whole clip. =)

  • at this point in the movie, i forgive shere khan for his evil shenanigans...just for that one low note. :P

  • I want to see a Shere khan vs Scar catfight that be Awesome!

  • jesus shere khan sure can belt it! lol

  • does anyone know where to get this as sheet music for choir?

  • @TrueLies13 Disney actually asked the Beatles to play the parts of the vultures, but they sadly declined... either way, Disney decided to model a couple of the vultures after them.

  • wow who knew that shere khan was a baritone? lol i mean its not everyday when you hear someone sing that low

  • This would've been so epic if it was actually the Beatles. Oh well, it's still pretty amazing. :)

  • Sher khan should really consider going solo....XD

  • Does anyone like the song?

  • @lisalumi noooo thats y this vid has 231, 405 views lol

  • l@princessbabyfirefly Hi, the question was meant to be rhetorical. But really, most of the comments are about which is which Beatle and Beatle hair references. I just love the song and the "performance" I smile thru the whole piece.

  • Shere Kahn's bit was so epic, it counts as his Villain song.

  • Best...Beatles...impression...EVAH!

  • shere khans voice is a tad like Brian Epsteins in this context

  • It's not so bad to be a vulture ;)

You get to be Beatle-esque. XD

  • this reminds me of my childhood! god this is awesome

  • The tiger is awesome!! His voice is beyond words!

  • @kiddosthang It's a shame he has like five lines in the whole movie.

  • @kiddosthang George Snaders, also one of the actors to play mr. Freeze on Batman. His voice is sometimes confused with the Disney legend Thurl Ravenscroft.

  • shere khan... great bass but it was far too overpowering for the harmony lol

  • The only thing I know for sure is that the one with his hair over his eyes, is so George :]

  • I say the bald one is John,

the blonde one (Flaps) is Ringo,

the brown haired one is Paul,

and the one with the hair over his eyes is George

  • I kind of wish the song was a bit more rock and roll to really show the Beatles feel of the vultures. :O

  • thats the Beatles :)

  • shere khan...just pwned them

  • @megamullet7 I can go lower then him and im a girl XD

  • quite a morbid song but really good!

  • a bit out of rythm, but AWESOME voices! :D

  • Aw I wish this would have been done by the Beatles. XD

  • love the classics^_^

  • I like when shere Kan comes in with his deep voice and Screws everything up and applause his self

  • Shere Khan's singing voice was Thurl Ravenscroft - you know, Tony the Frosties tiger and "You're a mean one, Mister Grinch!"

  • Thats cool!

  • @LeeJTurnock no it was someone else he just done the elephant song.

  • they seem to be losing the disney feel in the newer KH games, they lost me after number 2 personally.

  • @Triassicc ah yes, someone with taste. KH did get rather strange and rather weird after 2, and RE: Chain Of Memories was gay

  • 'Ey mate the Beatles weren't a barber shop quartet.

  • My favourite song in the whole movie. Great vocals and great feeling. Just a bit too short of a song I think.

  • There needs to be a jungle book world in Kingdom hearts.

  • i so agree with you.

  • I totally agree with you. I was hoping they'd put one in the new psp Kingdom Hearts coming out. But I don't think there will be one. Maybe if theres a Kingdom Hearts 3 for PS3.

  • Well someone told me KH3 is a definite now whenever it comes out I wanna see some new gameplay features that'll literally knock me out of my chair. Plus put Hunchback of NotreDam in it as well.

  • I think they should put Atlantis: The Lost Empire in KH3, as well. To me, that was Disney's last really good movie. I just hope they don't bring back Alice and Wonderland...that world sucked. But if Kingdom Hearts is going to have disney worlds, I think that it should have a few Final Fantasy worlds, as well. Example: Midgar from Final Fantasy VII.

  • @londea88 jungle book and Hunchback of Notre Dame

  • lol barber shop <3

  • they are the jungle singers..friends with the same feather flocks together..

  • when your alooooooooone, who comes around

  • omg I love this song lol its awsome :D

  • yea "they never met an animal they didnt like" lol im sure they wntd 2 eat the boy

  • I know I found that part of the somg ironic considering they're vultures

  • The Spanish version, in that very phrase, said "no animal seems bad to us when we are hungry and it's time to eat"....you got a point there!! xD

  • gotta love quartets ^^

  • khan bass ftw!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i always love the part at 1:09-1:18

    love the music

those good old days when Disney only used classic instruments

  • That's my favourite bit :D

  • heck yes. sing that bass line at the end. lol
