Is the 383 the stock 5.7 litre engine that came in some models? I always assumed those were 350. I am going to get another Iroc soon though. I wanna boost the hell out of it and need some tips on what to look for. This model of camaro is the last body style of camaro I like.

@chevyfan383 im working on it i have a 400 lined up i wanna go Vortec heads and intake with a mean cam set up. But the 305 will be in the car till the 400 is almost finished
i think your better off running shorty headers with a catback system. then spend money on other stuff. Long tubes are sweet but you have to custom fab everything. ugh, everything custom is a pain unless you have your own shop most of the time
hopefully this doesnt sound to stupid...how did you suspend the mufflers before the rear axle? and what kind of mufflers are you using. Thanks for the video sounds great!
Very nice car, My first car is going to be my fathers 86 Z28 TPI, and I was wondering what is the best chevy motor I could fit into one of these, i want to keep it relatively original so preferably vette or good racing camaro motors.
@rhett443 it depends on how far you want to take it... you can put in an ls1 relatively easily.. and thats a cam swap away from 400hp.. and pretty good gas milage for a v8.. or you can drop in any small block, or a big block.. it all depends on what kinda work you wanna do, and what youre looking to get out of it...
@TEEEJ69 you don't have to make any modifications to the car, but the entire exhaust is custom, so if you don't have any fab skills this would be a tough one to tackle.

What do you have under the hood? I've been trying to find an h pipe for my 86 305 tpi but I can't seem to find em anywhere, know where I can find one? And how much did it set ya back?
this isn't my car, i just built the exhaust for this car. there is no h-pipe available in the aftermarket. i've had good luck using the universal summit kits, but if you have no fab skills, it makes it a bit more difficult
