Maybe in your book that is true. But it is used all the time on tv and in movies. This is because it adds depth, foreground framing, and a sense of viewing from a distance. Now that you have seen it on this video, I guarantee you will see it all the time on all types of tv shows and films and recognize it.
That's what they told Speilburg and look where it got him. (First shot was used in his movie ET, and the second one in Jaws, (sub a boat for the cart). MOral Cheap makes money.
