Black hand doesn't have stealth and Air units. I think +15% has been add up in tank and +10% to skill u see in left side on the screen, and the remaining +75% has poured up to infantry. Almost all upgrade on the favor of infantry.
You should never rush as Nod, unless it is early in the game and you have tons of Scorpions, or you can exploit weaknesses with stealth tanks. Good use of Reckoners! A decent player would have anticipated your Black Hand/Purifier rush, and flattened you with Zone Shatterers and Sonic Emitters. Never perform a late game rush as Nod.
i've done some tests myself it appears Purifier is the same as Avatar on 1 vs 1 they are very even and who attacks first is the winner, but on upgraded Avatar vs Purifier, the Purifier will lose, unless it comes to a close distance to use it's purifier flame then it wins.
Same story with other faction high-tech units 1 on 1 purifier will lose, but with closer range flame it wins all the time.
Purifier costs a bit more than Avatar but considering the upgrades costs it's more better.
@DeaXi69, that is totally correct, purifiers are extremely effective at close range versus any high-tech units, I test this theory and its RIGHT. The only problem is that it lacks the stealth ability of the other nod factions, but if they had it, probably the purifier would be the strongest ground unit.

i don't even have to watch. black hand rules all. i myself don't like to send the epic units into an enemy base. i generally use em as a mobile base def. that way i don't need alot of turrets, just AA. black hand is just a basic walking burning wave, that nothing survives. that only thing that does suck, is the AA are missles. and you have that moment where air power can still attack, versus the slingshots
Black hand is in my oppinion the best faction that is NOT overpowered (like the travelers) if they would have stealth technologies the would be imortal.

Wrong . Nod are silent assasins.A hit-n-run faction who can be easy microd. Try making a strike force of 5 stanks 5 shadows 2-3 specters and some vetrigos. Your enemy can not stop you.GDI are steamrollers they are a brutish faction.3 mammoths with 2 rigs is quite tough.Scrin rule the skies.They are best from death from above.They are a mix between Nod and GDI. Fast moving units.BUT also strong aircraft as most GDI units. GDI's mammoth has the same armour of a Scrin Planetary assault carryer.
Scrin is also supreme against everyone in defences. Even though the Tier 1 defences are rather worthless, the Storm Columns are death to any aircraft. Firehawks get owned easily, Orca's are crap anyway, and Vertigos...well, unless they bomb the column itself, nope. Most tanks are obliterated at once. Only weakness is power and low armour.
you are completely right. But i would say that scrin is the best team. The different types of air units owns gdi's and nod's completely with their massive battleships and special abilities. . . If you know how to assault them, you win with a blink of an eye :)
scrin is not that hard to beat, i just keep 8 firehawks armed with AA missles in patrol for devastators and they rip the carriers and devastators apart like none other
This game is fine Stradegy RTS Game, It works on my Radeon 9250 128MT AMD Sempron 3100+ PC, Tho im getting new gaming cpu. One of the top-noch stradegy RT'S's.
the only thing i dont like is you cant build 2 turrents at the same time that is the only thing keeping me from going scrin that and the awsome stealth specters.
Trouble is that the scrin MCV is aircraft so you need to have an aircraft factory, which is a pain in the arse if you're Reaper-17 since they are much better on the ground.
Thing is, why do you feel the need to have so many turrets? The best defence is a couple of turrets with some mobile units defending. Turret-only defence is risky and easy to get past.
and 1 more thing some1 said that you can teleport your mothership through a wormhole i tryed it and it dosent work what is the mother ship good for? any strats? sorry if im asking so much lol.
I think ZOCOM are tough to get used to. They are basically the air+infantary version of GDI - naturally suited to the guerilla-style player. I dont think any faction is 'the worst', they are balanced but different.
Steel talons are great for steamrolling, but I personally dont like them.
My favourites are Black Hand, Reaper-17, and Traveller-59.
In the current patch, blackhand are more effective in early game than zocom. The patch is Imbalanced for Gdi and its sub factions. The scrin and nod factions are a bit favored in 1.01.I hope they sync things in KW with TW, like a refinery for 3k(WTF?) and can't expand base with warfactory stuff like that.
They deny air in favor of flame and aggressive punishment.
I think the best faction is Reaper-17, though the green laser of tripod need 7% buff, it doesn't do much more damage then original to buildings but it tears up units like nothing, for me bringing 5 Reaper Tripods against 13 titans is something awesome, just watch the titans fall.
@bmfirchau, What are you talking about man, black hand kick ass, they have very aggressive infantries and the purifier mech is second to none with purifying flame upgrade. The black hand wreck massive amount of DELICIOUS CARNAGE to infantries, armored units and structures. I love this faction specially watching columns of purifier mech wrecking carnage. Their infantries are good against upgraded mammoth tanks and Reaper tripods as well !!!!

The Black Hand is one of the most powerful factions. I think that for a 2 on 2 battle, Reaper 17 and The Black Hand will be a deadly combination. Purifiers charging into the base with Reaper Tripods will smash almost everything. Not to mention some mantises and Shard Walkers for anti air
ya once you get about 10 of them set them to agressive and just walk into there base, upgraded of course, and not the attack move. its only stopable by a shit load of like sonic emmitters or air of course, try it some time
Depends on how many buggies there are. Fanatics also work, depending on how much anti-infantry support they have.
It also hinges on how well-timed your EMP is. I bet you I would execute the EMP much more effectively if I used the keyboard shortcut rather than the big button at the bottom.
If you're GDI, you can EMP grenade for the win. In Battlecast Primetime I saw a MARV get struck by EMP grenades at least 3 times in a row. It was then fried.

EMP them via Raider Buggies, Grenadiers, Shockwave Artillery, the EMP building, or neutralize half of them via the Stasis for Scrin first.
