@uniquesten in own an i30 1,4 and a ford focus 1,6, both manual gearbox. On i30 speeedometer=190km/h GPS=184km/h. On Focus speedometer= 190km/h GPS=189km/h. I guess Focus is more accurate and turns better but is slower than the i30. Focus is also more stable on high speeds and both are dead on low rpms because of the electronic throttle i guess... Generally both cars are very good...
im sorry to spoil the party here but there is no way thats a stock 1.4L i30..... the 1.4L manual has a top speed of 187kph, the 1.6L Auto has a top speed of 183kph the Manual 192kph and the 2.0L Manual has a top speed of 205kph and Automatic 195kph. so that car has to be a 2.0L Automatic
@TheOxTube Sorry to spoil your opinion :) The speed gauge in most cars usually shows around 10% more, so if it says 200kmh it means 180kph. You can verify this by checking GPS. So this is possible in a 1.4L. Also if the highway is downhill you can go even faster.

Got mine 2010 edition for 13300€ in Croatia, red,1.4 16v,109hp, just crossed 2000km..when i'll be on freeway i'll try max speed. I tried on 150km/h..nice,quiet,smooth..:))) Great car!
No the air bags wouldnt save any one if you want to see a bad crash test try the hyundai elantra very unsafe the air bags dont inflate untill your hear is about cm away from the steering wheel!

It has nice, solid interiors, impressive look, overall done with solid quality, motor is very quiet, does impressive 109hp/1.2t @ 1.4 - 7 liters/100km in city, integrated mp3/cd player with usb, air conditioner in BASE model(europe). Its a mix of bmw(engine,back / side view), vw passat(interior), ford(frontal look). Got one for 10k € in europe. =)
Till 180kmph it goes pretty well, after that it needs some time to reach 200. I've never done in mine more than 140km/h (for a moment, just to see how loud it is) cause it's brand new and they told me in the saloon that first 1000km i can't give more rotations than 4000

Now at roof level, for both left and right: frontal (2) near front glass, middle just behind driver and passenger(2), in back corners up near rear glass(2). Count up, 2+2+2+2+2=?
my friend i own this car too!! if you read more carefully the owners manual you'll see that the 3 airbags next to the glasses is actually one which covers all the side of the car!! (curtain type!!) anyway i hope that we'll never need them!! have many nice and enjoyable kilometers!!!
You my friend are worng this car only has 6 air bags as my friend recently had one a 09 model and he was hit in the side my a 4WD and the airbags did get used and there was only 6 air bags and they were all inflated...!
Yes, I know. It has 6, but the two are special, because they are multiple and cover up part, so yes 6. Too bad to hear new car has crashed :/ Hopefully we never will need airbags.

mine is then at about 6000rpm(5 gears) At normal topspeed it are about 5500rpm (185-190km/h)

im sorry to spoil the party here but there is no way thats a stock 1.4L i30..... the 1.4L manual has a top speed of 187kph, the 1.6L Auto has a top speed of 183kph the Manual 192kph and the 2.0L Manual has a top speed of 205kph and Automatic 195kph. so that car has to be a 2.0L Automatic
