Very sweet song, first heard it on an album of chilren's favourites when mine were still small. Just one thing, why does she sing "Swing A cat", while in the Stargazers' version it is "hang a hat"?

love Alma Cogan, reminds me of my youth, we always watched her and her shows were great fun. left us too young of course. great voice and personality, unlike of most the rubbish of today.
I always associate Alma with Blackpool in the 50s she was quite unique in that you could always recognise her voice ,unlike the electronic enhanced so called singers today, with the exeption of Shirley Bassey and one or two more
Hahaha...wow!. i used to have this on record as a kid...and on the other side it was never do a tango with an eskimo!!...great memories...thanks fro sharing ! :)

The lady with a smile in her voice. Tragic she died so young, she was truely an International star. Famous as a party host to the stars.

Its Incredible that this Very Talented Lady only Died when she was only 34 years old from Overian Cancer.
Even after all these years she is still very sadly missed.
