According to another story from CA magazine (by one of JFK's staffers, who supposedly wrote the embargo order for him), after the embargo Kennedy had an ongoing supply of Cuban cigars brought to him through the British ambassador. He also claimed a similar story about a "gift" of diplomatic cigars, this time from Che Guevara while at a conference in Rio. (JFK supposedly kept these.)
I got to try a Petit Upmann over the summer...wasn't very impressed, it was a very lightweight cigar.

If the oil producers want to keep raising prices... we should do the same with our military providing their protection.
