Same thing as anywhere, when you act the fool and get asked to leave, LEAVE or face the consequences. Watch the JayZ club bouncers video, dudes should have left. Of course in the US stupidity is rewarded via our court system as those guys will sue JayZ for hundreds of thousands. In Thailand you just end up loosing "action" days during your vacation.

The guy is drunk. I agree that it's not right to go into someone elses country and start trouble but we really don't know what happened here and who started what. I do have a problem with more than one guy attacking a guy who is so drunk he can't even stand up. That seems cowardly. I think in situations like that foreigners should band together and standup against the Thais.

@nycboyforlife You obviously never been to Thailand. Foreigners banding together to fight locals usually end up with serious injury and death. Thats why no one intervenes. Far too many foreigners act like they own the place and this usually ends up badly for them. Simple rule in Thailand. Respect the locals, they leave you alone everythings fine, Disrespect the locals, You got your stomped. This is from my experience living their for 4 years.

I lived in Thailand for 10 years and never had a problem. Thais are not a violent or mean people, but they will defend themselves like anyone else. I saw a lot of "farang" there who caused trouble and were asking for it.
