my cousins had a trip there, they showed me pictures pero there was one picture na really scary lalo na sa story nila, they were just picturing the view tapos doon sa camera, may babaeng naka-blue. Alam nila agad na multo iyon kasi wala naman daw tao nandoon, sila sila lng at walang nakablue.

The biggest mystery about this place is what lies beneath. I personally tracked down the blueprints, including the tattered one from 1912, which specifically shows a basement, yet an entrance is nowhere to be found!

I'm not posting here just to say something about my visit to this place. I only went once here and I seriously will never want to go back!! When I entered the gate 6pm with my bf and friends, I felt that my brain had been jolted with something and that my breathing became heavy. It persisted two times more, on the last instance the jolting of my brain and feeling of being suffocated never stopped that I know I was about to pass out! I haven't even stepped inside the hotel yet!!!

i went there 5 times i saw nothing just this January 2 2011 and it's under renovation i heard a lot of stories there it's like a hospital with dying patients then it became a hotel i can't see anything i swear and i keep on wondering why the other room there is locked but i saw a part of it with old chairs and stuffs like that and if you guys know the princess sarah movie they shoot there :D

@TheSector51 Just because GHI said its not haunted doesn't mean that there is nothing there... I know the history of that place and i'll tell you... Our tour guide(our fathers friend) is a historian and says that that building was built around the late 19th century and was finished around the first decade of the 20th cent. when the philippine american war broke out it was used as headquarters by the americans and also kept POW's and IN WW2 they canged into a chapel and the priests and nuns bhdd

My father-in-law used to work as a bell hop at the diplomat hotel during the 70's. I have seen in the pictures that it was a state of the art hotel during the 70's.

this was a seminary during the early 1900, world war 2 came & several priest and nuns were killed and some of them beheaded by the japanese. This was converted into a hotel after the war. Clerks, bell hops, hotel guests complain of wailing even during day time, when night comes, apparitions of headless priest roam the corridors, some even say that they see ghost carrying their heads on a platter.

Thnx for posting this vid. It brought back memories of my childhood. I grew up playing on the grounds of Diplomat. Our family house is just below it. I used to go up there and look at the magnificent view of the whole city. You can even see South China Sea and the provinces of Pangasinan and La Union on a clear day. There are tennis and basketball courts at the eastern end where we used to play. Hope they keep it as it is- a historical site. There are a lot of developments around it already.

we also went there for a documentary.. such an experience!!! one of those windows caught our attention, when Wawi (groupmate, photoshoot that angle, into our surprise, a transparent image of a headless priest in white with a dominant image of a rosary appeared. it was then researched (thru interviews and references) by our group that diplomat is where many nuns and priests were beheaded during the Japanese era, and so the image may speak for itself..
