Just because she's Korean doesn't make her responsible to maintain a "goody goody" visage of the Korean-American community. As a Korean, I find her material hilarious and painfully true. It makes light of the otherwise detrimental nationalistic fervor and lack of individualism in close-knit Korean-American communities. Margret is punk as fuck and real, if you can't handle her brutal honesty then you sir, are an ethnically insecure asshole and should "get da fuck outta here."

She is an embarrassment to the Korean community. She represents everything that the community don't want their children to be. Most people in the community hates the fact that she is the most visible Korean in America. Her views and values are not what the overwhelming majority of Koreans agree with. She couldn't hack it as a member of the Korean American community (be thin, beautiful, or smart) and sold out big time to the white mainstream American liberal party.  We can do without her.

Yes I agree she's not a role model for children, but what comedian isn't prude and to the point when they're telling jokes? I guess Margaret is just breaking that barrier of a reserved asian when she's telling jokes, it doesn't mean she lives the lifestyle of how she acts on stage. You just have to be very open minded to like her, I know it's hard for some people.
