you've got good stride length and you do well at keeping your elbows at 90 degrees. my only recommendation would be to stay down in your drive phase a bit longer and you'll probably feel more power with every stride :) good job
I really like your technique. Great bouncing. Your stride length will be longer if u get older. Your frequency is also good. What helps to get even a more bouncing action is tilting your hips backwards (posterior tilt), but not to extreme like Walter Dix or Justin Gatlin. More elastic energy is stored then in your hamstring muscle. Stride rate can be trained with speedladder or running downhill. You have potential to run sub 7s ;)
when you say 7.7 60 meter electronic is that by laser or off the gun?

@jjtheflash22
I'm not sure what the distinction is. it was official electronic timing with a photo finish...

who times you? and whoever times you, do they start the clock as soon as you take off or does someone say "go", start the clock and you begin...

someone says go as they start the clock, then later on I time it from the video...

you have great form. exellent upright running, with great knee drive and arm motion
but one thing, i dont think you maintain your drive phase enough. you get upright too much. this would be due to overstriding at the start
but what are your times? like 100m time
joecandito 2 years ago
at the time about 12.4, but I got down to 12.03 last season.
thanks for the comments. my acceleration technique is much better now. 60m sprint is around 7.8s...

yeah that sounds better
looks like you should do some weight training. put some muscle mass will help your start tremendously
