It was good, I just wish that they would have mentioned at the begining that the eggs were going to be added last and then additional cheese over that and wwould've given options for cooking times-low or high. I'm trying to get easy recipes for my son and had this all written up for him by following the video recipe, but I had to go back and watch the video to see when to add eggs and then rdo recipe forhim. Just a suggestion-no major complaint
Do you think this can be frozen?? I'm always looking for recipes to make for my son who's away in college so he can just quickly heat it up, and I'm wondering whether this would freeze okay. Thoughts? (BTW, thanks for all you do!!!!!)
ok girls, its me again...Im all over your videos and fb pages constantly!! Anywho...I have a small catering business where I cater to apt complexes mostly for resident appreciation brunches...50-60 ppl. I used this recipe but baked it instead (dont hate me!) just so I could make a larger amount. PEOPLE LOVED IT...I did fess it was meant to be a CP recipe and directed folks to your website and fb page...Dallas is loving some Crockpot girls!!!
there are always gonna be idiots making negative comments , who coincidentally never show their own faces on camera...but the bulk of us really appreciate the lessons, so screw the others. ;)
Enjoying your recipes!! They have helped me out tremendously. I love using my crockpot, it's been great incorporating new recipes. Makes my cooking a lot easier.
I love your site and fb page! Thank you for your wonderful ideas! The only request I have, can you do a close up shot of the finished meal so we can see what they look like done? Keep up the fabulous work! I am loving it!
Great Job on the video girls! I don't have to see the finished product because the vision in my mind is good enough for me! I am looking forward to your next video!
I can tell you girls have really great personalities...now let them out! Maybe have a glass or 2 or 3 of wine before you do your videos! What you're doing is really great, you just need to loosen up.
Great job ladies! Loving the website, love the videos - just ignore the complainers! There's always a few who think they could do things better, but you've created an awesome website that people all over the country are talking about. You should be proud of yourself! Blessings to all of you!
Love it! I am looking forward to trying this when I host my sisters' families for Christmas. We would rather spend time visiting than cooking and this looks like it would help us do that!!! Thanks!!!!
Love the recipe, I'm going to try it next weekend. As for the video, I can only imagine what it must be like to be learning "on camera" for regular people who aren't actors. I'm sure constructive criticism is welcome, but hopefully people will remember that it's a lot harder than it looks. Congrats for taking the risk, we're all benefitting.
@gardyner Thanks for understanding that we are just starting out, and aren't professionals by any means! We are trying to improve every week, and implement some of the suggestions from the viewers!
Would have loved to see a close up of the finished dish coming out of the crock pot, as well as what it looked like on the plate. Thanks for the recipe, and your video was well done! Great job!
Yes, thank you ladies! Not sure why some people just need to complain. It's just a crock pot recipe, for crying out loud! Love all the recipes, great job & keep up the good work. I will be trying this, WITHOUT even seeing the fnished product :)
Ladies your doing a wonderful job on "Crock Pot Monday". I'm finding it very helpful. THANK YOU for taking a chance and going outside of your comfort zone to help the rest of us!! Keep it up!! :)
I enjoy watching your videos but, I wish you could show the food when its done on a dish!

the camera is so far away from the finished product. Can you please get close ups at the end. Your recipes sound delicious. I can't wait to try them.

What is the suggested time for cooking...on low I'm assuming?
rachpickett 5 months ago
@rachpickett Yes, low... and we did ours for about 8 hours. Since slow cookers tend to cook a little differently, it might be done a little sooner :)

Nicole would probably seem less stiff if she had something to do besides talk. Get those hands dirty, girlfriend!
The meal sounds delicious.

Nicole really needs to act more natural. She seems very stiff and almost camera shy or something.

You could use some music to move this along, and the finished dish is a necessity.
barkdognow 5 months ago
@barkdognow : They have the finished dish there, they say it is served with sour cream and salsa, but a close up of the dish would be good

Maybe use a wooden spoon to cut down on bowl noise.

@dianaryer1 yes, the clicking does get a bit annoying or a bit of background music would drown it out
