Thanks for this lesson. It is something I have struggled with for a long time.. how to say "this event" was caused by (or was done by) this other thing or person. For example, "He caused me to be happy." Can I use 他被我感到高兴 to say this?

@light487 Hello. Thanks for your comments. For He caused me to be happy, the sentence pattern is different. So we don't say 他被我感到高兴, we should say 他使我高兴。Happy new year!
