  • This was always my favorite song from this album

  • For me, Ulver perfectly reflects how you mustn't see everything from only one perspective and how everything is in constant motion... changing... Also it intensifies kind of everything you think, feel, do, see. . . . thank you Ulver :).

  • does this song title have anything to do with the book House of Leaves? if you read it, you'll know exactly what line i'm talking about. just so goddamn oddly familiar and right on the spot. jusst ssayinnnn

  • brilliant...!

  • damnit...i hit dislike by accident....this song is so freaking awesom

  • A tale of old love, and old times, this song just came back and hit me in the back of my mind. After all these years.

  • i was obsessed with this album when i was reading clive barker's imajica. now i can't separate the two.

  • a masterpiece indeed

  • Great to listen to while reading House of Leaves

  • just heard this song on pandora this weekend. nothing short of amazing. creepy and soothing at the same time. nice work :D definitely gonna check out more of their stuff.

  • favorite thing about this album is the odd speed up and slow down of the record player. definitely an analog sound

  • I like the picture @ 2:48.

    ;-}

  • If they ever decide to bring Twin Peaks back, this album is the perfect soundtrack.

  • does ulver has anything to do with ambient black metal? i know their history how they came to triphop and stuff. just curious.

  • @Nhordmyr The album Bergtatt I guess

  • @Nhordmyr Not ambient Black Metal, but Black Metal yeah. Their first album, Bergtatt, was more in the Pagan/Viking Black Metal spririt, then they recorded an acoustic album, and finally Nattens Madrigal was pure true Black Metal. Probably knowing that it was the best Black Metal album they could record, they changed direction.

  • @EvanMetalReaper No you dingbat, their first album is the definition of black metal. Has nothing to do with pagan or viking metal, it was PURE black metal with lyrics concerning Norwegian folk-tales.

Oh and never go pagan/viking metal again. Pagan metal is shit, viking metal is awesome. You're pissing on Quorthon's grave dude, and that pretty much entitles you to an eternity of torture and suffering.

  • This song is awesome, but unfortunetely I only got into Perdition City. I don`t like the rest of their opus for some reason...

  • Get used to that, man. And if you're a "fan of this kind of music", you should understand.

  • @VladimirMilea

    cry more about it faggot

this stuff blows the black metal albums out of the water

  • @VladimirMilea You are the worst kind of metalhead.

  • @VladimirMilea He is right man, the worst kind of Metalhead.

  • @666danielclark666

I agree with Vladimir Milea. I don't like this very much. It's really strange and... I don't know how to describe.

I like the old Ulver, especially the Split with Mysticum and Bergtatt, but this isn't the type of music I like to listen.

But saying this isn't a reason for beeing blamed by people like you to be "the worst kind of Metalhead". With this statement you are far more intolerant than he is or I am.

  • @VladimirMilea they changed, dont got the minimal idea of HOW. I had never ever seen such a change

i am really really really curious about how this happened x3

  • :))))))))))))))))

  • Good catch.

    Good call.

  • Hallways of the always huh?

They took a cue from Charles Manson there.

  • Perdition City and Blood Inside are my favorites albums! The Band is amazing...

  • As a person who mostly listens to BM it might sound strange, but I must admit that Perdition City is their best album. Their Black Metal works are marked as legendery but there is nothing like Perdition City, it's just perfect.

  • @kittykatzombie definatly the strangeness f the music makes it al the more epic xD

  • Pure art.

  • ulver are incredible composers and musicians

  • creepy I like it

  • This song Blows my mind it really HITS @ 4:20
