How come the overall this gun still gets 7.5 out of 10?! After hearing its weaknesses combined with the high price point I woudl say 5.5 at most..

It doesn't necessarily prevent double feeds does it? I always thought that was just so you could pull a squeegee through if you had a barrel break. A nice feature regardless

that little hole in the side is what prevents double feeds in the older ones,

ok i think this is a 5.5 11inch barrel and no threads and the ball rolls out of the barrel and the tracer is cheaper more accurate, detents,and it looks better

My friend got this as his first pump marker. We are thinking of sending it somewhere to get it threaded. Other than that, it's fun to shoot.great and spot on iron sights.

it doesnt need detents,it just needs cocker threads...

pump guns are closed bolts, and while it is easier to put ANTI ROLLOUT(not double) detents on a nelson because the bolt isnt as far forward it still isnt a common feature.

if this thing had cocker threads, people could put there small bore barrels on there. and double feeds are all about pumping technique.

I use a phantom from time to time and and get the amount of double feeds(none) as my t2, yet the t2 has double feeding detent.

great review completely covered the gun, for the detent thing! if tippman did it great cause you shouldnt have to especially to a new gun but what if you were to drill a small hole and stick one of the detents from say the spyder mr1. cheap! simple! and you should only need one. might be a good mod for someone thats had it for a while and wants something different!(sorry just thinking out loud)
