  • Great job! Very straight forward! Thanks!

  • yeah im sorry with splitters i meant cigarette lighters which u bought...

  • So the direct lead from the fuse box was connected to the splitters and dock wires were connected to the car charger and then u connected the car charger to the splitter. Am i right?

  • @iluvprady I'm not really sure what you mean by "splitters"

but it runs like this: Fuse box > lead > Cigarette lighter(s) > Car Charger > Phone Dock

  • @ReaganSmash3000 is there a way to directly hardwire it to the car's inbuilt cigarette lighter and avoid going to the fuse box? I was wondering if i can splice the charger and connect the +ve and -ve to the back of car charger or something...

  • @iluvprady yeah totally, I did that with my e36, but with a car like this one I like the added peace of mind of having a fuse back there. Its all preference. If you do go that route, splice into the leads so as to not damage the actual lighter itself. You could get an inline fuse from home depot/lowes I suppose and it would do the same thing.

  • Nice tutorial. could be clean up a bit .

    Thank you
