Paramore is one of my favorite bands of all time right next to rise against but comparing VersaEmerge and Paramore, VersaEmerge is a much better band. Songwriting is what im basing this off of, though Paramore did much much better than before with brand new eyes, VersaEmerge is rediculously good at writing... if you wanna pull the "oh but hayley sings so well live and blah blah" yes she does but so does sierra. Just look up any acoustic or decently leveled VE video. VE 10/10 paramore 9.5/10.

@walkman1567 Agreed. Paramore is my favorite band, but Hayley just uses too much of her voice(if you know what I mean) and sometimes she sounds tired live. Sierra uses her voice sweetly and keep it safe.

Sierra has an amazing voice. I like her more than Paramore. And I'm not comparing them. Sierra's voice, to me, is better. That's just my opinion.

There's a good range with her voice and there's like, mystery to it, I think.

and I love how she's not afraid of hitting wrong notes. She just shrugs and moves on. she's truly amazing.

they're infinitely better (don't get me wrong, i love paramore, too). i mean, for one, listen to sierra's vocals. they're amazing, but the amazing thing is that they do absolutely nothing to them in the studio. if not for the quality, you really wouldn't be able to discern her live vocals from her studio vocals. amazing.

@pagiis believe me, i love paramore as well. i have all three of their albums plus about fifteen unreleased songs on my ipod. but right now, i'm just really psyched about versa. at the moment, versa is my first favorite band, while paramore is second. paramore has been around longer - that's how they control the audience. versa's just getting started. i'm sure in a few years they'll be just as adept as paramore at live shows. or maybe they already are; i'll find out this summer (warped tour!!).

@pagiis haha paramore isn't way better... in fact they aren't really better than VersaEmerge ... they have been around more and they have a much stronger and wider audience, and yeah maybe they put on better shows but VersaEmerge is way better than Paramore as a band... just listen at VE's music and arrangements,... that's sth paramore will never have, or at least they don't atm.
