"Faith alone won't sustain us no more." Huh..double negative. Gregg does know better than that. Puts a different spin on this track. What is really trying to say?
Amazing song. The fact that it's older than I am but is so true to today is kind of amusing. Kinda like Land of Confusion applies today pretty heavily today, too.
@mattflora91 I was born the year this song came out, 1990 I think. Anyway, this has got to be one of their best songs. It's so underrated. This song and almost all of their other songs really make you think about the world and its aspects.
i share your oppinion NOfear0017,old song but really Punkrock Evergreen!!!I wish that this world has more Bands like BR,think we had better life on this Planet Earth, sad but true!!!
2:40 you can get my soul by pity, is what it sounds like to me.

Sounds like at 2:40 he sings "you can get consoled by pity" instead of "you can always have my pity", anyone else hear that?

@hydr0genhyp0thesis that's actually what he say, greg is always willing to talk... people do know he is a book writer, and a professor.

Bad religion songs are the best but they always depress me regarding the state of affairs.

They have got genial lyrics but creepy music. I like only a few - maybe two of theirs songs. But most of them got good lyrics. Quite clever.
