Ok m8 you have to buy Verbatim DVD+R, 8x, 8.5GB, Dual Layer and just go in to currys of whatever PC shop is near you and ask for a DUAL LAYER DVD BURNER AND READER and well that reily you

lol i heard u cant just buy any dual layer drive. The drive and dvd have to be compatibile with each other. Also i heard you have to burn them at 2.4x speed

you can buy just about any dvd-r dl drive, but verbatim DVD-R DL Discs will only work.

ya, i ended up trying the slax method BEFORE i did the two wire trick and it didnt work. it wasnt detecting my drive even though it was in the right port. but i did the two wire method and bricked my drive

I have flashed my Lite on Drive, took some work, but in the end worked. Have also done a benq, that was spoofed for another machine, but the reason i got the benq was because the hitachi 59 drive i was using, while trying to flash was frozen? Now it is not recognized by windows? any help plz thanks guys.. I t hink it is bricked, but cant be any worse than just an erase.

hey man the back of my dvd drive does not have the 2 yellow wires like yours..there all black but it is a 59 drive....can i still stick the pins in the same spot to get it in mode b? please reply asap

ok man. I have my drive in mode b, but cannot go any further as I cannot open the command window by right clicking on the X-LG folder!!! this is drving me crazy...please help... I now have 7 staright hours devoted to this
