this works by detecting the shadows of your fingers, right? It looks like your lighting needs adjusting. I would try having a light over top vs. from the side, as you appear to have. And, as someone else already mentioned, you need to make sure your webcam is positioned so the entire area of the paper is visible. Neither of these appear to be issues with the software, but rather your setup...

the reason you cant touch certain parts is because the web cam can only go so far with a certain size to project on the computer so get a taller box no wider and do the same thing you did before except this time it will allow you to touch the farther outermost parts of the paper.

I almost forgot to tell you. You may also need to calibrate your camera. The same program that you are using comes with the calibration software.

You need at least a dual core for this. I think is one of the requirements.

And you need a different box too. I think you may need a taller (longer) box. But try different boxes. And also remember to focus your lens; it will work a lot better.

you need a deeper box because the camera cant see the part you cant touch because the surface area is too large

a deeper box should get you more range

also a better camera in the box will greatly enhance the refresh rate

the one in the box is probably an old camera

also check the camera is in focus to an object in comparason to the depth of the box you use this also with increase accuracy

its good but needs alot of tweaking to get better results :)

A future version will be released that hopefully takes care of the bug. But as I said above, it is fixable by going through the configuration/calibration process. =)

To get past the problem of only using 1/4 of the screen. When you start configapp, hit enter and go through the configuration process. The default is currently set for a different resolution than you camera, therefore that 'bug' arises.
