The rev range at which the engine is producing the most power. Sometimes is taken to be between the RPM of the engine when its producing its peak torque and the RPM when the engine is producing peak HP.
I see alot of people on the internet talking about powerbands as if theyre an item you bolt on... some exhaust pipes have power VALVES which effectively shorten the exhaust pipe at low rpm to increase power at low revs... I may be missing something but i think this is right.
