To me he shows no sign of being gay whatsoever, he just has relationship problems like millions of other ppl. to some women a fishing pole is a false pretense. lol I love the fact that people are saying he's not real or country anymore. Just like with your Alan Jackson's & George Strait's you sing what people can relate to. THAT'S COUNTRY...he has not changed in that factor. Even George & Alan have sang not so traditional songs themselves. As far as the twang goes, I'm glad it's gone. I've always loved him but his voice is much stronger today and sounds so much better without the "twang."

Well, KC: in regards to the beginning of this video: (Kenny's comments about being real and "country" like Merle Haggard, etc...) I might just say, "Mr. Chesney, you used to be "real" and "country" like the Hagg and them when you sang songs like this and "back where I come from" before you tried to be the next Jimmy Buffett. I agree w/ you, "TeamVLWD" 100%. I wrote my comment above before I read yours here. He lost my support when he tried to be a "K-mart-cowboy on the beach". His older songs had heart, I remember being in the Military and all of us guys would sing "Back where I come from" from the top of our lungs! I still get a little choked up when I hear it, I have all but given up on "Country" music nowadays, I still like George Strait and Alan Jackson, but that's about it.
