  • the song is so badass!!xD

  • myyyyy...its soooo beautifulllllllll

  • OK the song is called "Sacred Spirit " "Yeha Noha ".... :D

  • I know I similar version of this song. Its called "enigma " " the return of innocence". Like everyone else really wish who ever post this beautiful video, would release the name of the music. :)

  • Chuggster333 hmmm lazy? Haha your funny you little ignorant ass. Have you been on the Navajo reservation? It's completely poor! It's like living in a 3rd world country in some parts. Some houses have no electricity, running water. 2 essentials things to have in this modern world. In some parts of the Rez there's a well & it's 1st come first serve. Your govt put us in this position. Forced us here, cut off from big cities & made it difficult to start a business on the Rez.

  • Que bonita cancion saludos a todos los navajos que Dios los siga bendiciendo. desde Mexico D.F

    Nihaniya Dios te bendiga siempre.

  • Who is singing this beautiful song? IV gotta know..

  • @ CHUGGSTER333, you are a jackass! we Natives are not lazy. Remember YOUR government has made it difficult for us Natives to build and create jobs on our lands.

  • Fantastic Song! Thanks for posting.

  • WOW U TAK3 NIC3 PIX,N THA NATURAL NATIV3 LANDS R SOO AMAZING I LOV3 IT ;)) AND PROUD TO B NAVAJO =D

  • There are many cultures out there, and some people are too ignorant to accept them unless it is their own. Racism is awful. If people can take their noses out of the air for five seconds, they might realize we're lucky to see such a variety of humankind. Why must people fight all the time? Is it SO hard to sit down, shut up, and listen for a few seconds?

This song is beautiful. I'm glad I found it here. :)

  • Damn!!! I need this song!!!

  • Wow this makes me proud to be a pure blooded navajo.

  • @18wy18 yeeaaaahhhhh ;J its the native medicine man with bun

  • Still trying too find out what my drean was to mean - please any real Navajo you know what the 2 sun's I saw mean - the 3 fires ! - would love for some one to pass what happend in my dream years ago too an Elder Cheif - thank you

  • My grandma was navajo,

  • Im getting tired of hearing about how bad indians have it, granted, they're consitent laziness is perpetuated by our government paying them simply because they learned the special ability to breath air. But historically, if a weaker civilization is conquered. They are either wiped out, assimilated, or they pay royalties to their sovereign nation. Now my government pays people to be alive who claim their own 'Navajo Nation.' Enjoy your benefits simply for being born.

  • @Chuggster333 You must be white.

  • @Chuggster333 your opinion is stupid.

    That is all.

  • great vid,like it

  • Last year when I was working and travelling in the South West (I'm from the UK) a friend and I hitch hiked from Flagstaff to the Grand Canyon South Rim. The Navajo people that picked us up along the way were some of the warmest and friendliest people I've ever met and I am always grateful to them.

  • I'm only part Navajo, (also black and white), but this makes me proud :)

  • I had a Dream some years ago where I was sat on one of the top of one of the 3 that stand apart rocks collums an I and a wise Indian Cheif where sat on top of the centre one ? And I was offering my peace pipe to the Wise Navajo Cheif an between us there was 3 fires ? - no sound,no wind, no warm or cold and Two Sun's one to my left an one to my right - some how I heard a voice telling me he was Navajo - Can anyone help me work out what it mean's I suppose I am Lokking for a True Navajo

  • @pnn1567 it means its a dream.

  • I am Navajo, I'm in the navy and this video makes me proud, to be able to say I am a dine' thank you for making this video, when I'm out on deployment for 7 months it's hard to bare but this has rejuvenated my spirit with the strength of the dine' nation, thanks again and please make more of these films. Native pride!!!!!

  • i am Navajo/ Apache and am also a decendent to the Apache warrior Geronimo....the only thing I think can save this country is to Impeach Obama and put some of my people in the white house....

  • @disc6frolf Vice Versa!

  • beautiful song. I'm so sorry all that ancient Indian civilization was destroyed. All the sacred knowledge was forgotten. Along with them we've lost a lot.

  • @user17v let me make a guess tht ur a racist and hate whites

  • I fuckin hate navajos (some) they r fucking racist (again some) and they think they r better than everybody (like i said some i got navjos friends)

  • @SCHeroGunslinger you would be the same if you and your ancestors were in their shoes...

  • Comment removed

  • SCHeroGunslinger This is their land. Culturally, they are objectively better than most cultures from around the world in terms of their ethics and metaphysics. And you know who i hate? Insignificant and sad people like you who clearly don't think that much (your grammar is horrible) and base your delusional prejudices on "some i got navjos friends" instead of academically understanding their plight. I know because I have a minor in Native American Studies from NAU. I'm Republican and White.

  • @skolnick420 grow a fucking heart and a backbone u racist fuck i hope u die buried alive

  • I always hate hearing people say they miss the Rez. Fuck off damn apples.

  • Why do Niggers deserve a month to be appreciated when they didn't have land taken away. Natives were treated da same and we had more taken. niggers should stop crying for what happened to them. They should just go back to their shit land Africa from which they came. Sorry but its da truth. They always crying about that...

  • home

  • im a navajo

  • cool

  • I miss home =(

I want my pine trees, red dirt, sage brush, pinons, clean air, stars, and real spring water...

  • @7carsy take me with you

  • I always hated this song while growing up, because of the crappy new age music in the background. But the pics makes me miss home, but diploma first, before returning. Shout out to my bro's and sis' at chinle, page, k-town, window rock, tuba, kykotsmovi, and Shiprock! Can't wait for the Shiprock and Tuba fair. I'm def. flying home for that. btw, Flagstaff is not in the rez lol.

  • im white and im glad we did this hahahaha and i have a native wife

  • @RIPCraigjackson You artificial fake white fool! don't blast your inane accusations of being with a Native woman. Take your asinine delusional mind back to your trailer park. We're all here to listen to this beautiful sound appose to reading your developmentally disabled comments you inarticulate peasant.

  • @martinez418 just kiding im native from the zuni tribe i just wanted someone to fuck with

  • @RIPCraigjackson Not cool man!! I was ready to ambush you. LMAO!

    im not native/ indian

im a white American, But hey i can't change what happen 300 years ago

  • @Raymasaki ........... nobody can change the past but you can always change what happens in the future

  • Taking a trip through this area , their is a good chance you will remember who you are. And realize all that you are concerned or worried about ,only exists in your head.

  • @AnnaIverson i wish reservations never existed

  • at least blacks were slaves, white men almost made the red man go instinct!

  • I miss the reservation so much. This song does warm your heart. It is kind of emotional. Does anyone know the name of this song and who wrote it?

  • @dawnajones1 Yeha Noha is the song

  • @dawnajones1 Sacred Spirit wrote it, the song is called Wishes of Happiness and Prospertiy, also Yeha-noha

  • Comment removed

  • I loved that song!!! I visited the area this past May, and it was the most breathtaking place I've ever seen. I met some amazing Din'e artists and tried to learn as much as possible about the culture; I was overwhelmed by awe-inspired respect and an admiration for the people and the spectacular land. I wish I shared the culture!! I talk about it all the time and I have a few sandpaintings, Yei figures, and some jewelry, but I wish I'd *grown up* there.

  • Listening to this song, looking at this clip brings a warm feeling to the heart, when you are away from the Rez. GOOD ONE!!!!!!!!! Aho!

  • We gather our minds together to send greetings and thanks to all the Animal life in the world. They have many things to teach us as people. We see them near our homes and in the deep forests. We are glad they are still here and we hope that it will always be so.

  • DANII

  • that is great naynayxscream1.I'm glad that you are proud of your tribe.

  • love it. my refuge 4 many years from the city. driving 4 hours & you hit the rez.....HOME

  • iam 1?2 navajo and very proud of it....:-D

  • i lived at ktown shonto dtown many farms rough rock montezuma creek. man i am 100% percent navajo. and i love the homeland!!!!!!!!!!

  • You don't have to live traditional Navajo lives to be considered Navajo. Chinese people don't live entirely like they did 100 years ago. Navajos are known to adapt to survive. We have come so far and what i think is the most traditional way to express our culture is our language. but even if you don't speak it, think about allowing the next generation to learn it.

  • We weren't given rights to anything.

Are land stripped, are sheep taken women raped.

Why should another Indian believe another white man?!

Whites have brought nothing but poverty to the Navajo!

For your info we saved America from the Japanese!

We are a proud people and yes we do have a few drunks.

But look at the whites, fighting for stupid reasons, You brought this to us!

The Rez may not be the best but we know are roots and how to act.

It is home, all some know.

    Im proud to be Dine!

  • WOW!!! This is beautiful! You realy did an AWESOME job with making this video!

You sure do have some very beautiful country down there! I'm hoping to make it back down there again someday! Thank You for sharing this with us!

  • this is absolutely beautiful! My boyfriend is 100% Navajo and being with him has opened my eyes to so many things! Thank you for sharing this with us!

  • My home. So much love for this land.

  • Home... I always visit the Chinle and Pinon areas every chance I get to help my old moms out. What a great place to be. It is. Just too bad the Navajo Nation government fucks everything up. Those Devils in D.C. consider us Prarie Niggers and you still wanna model your government after theirs? Get real....

  • Aweful to read all these comments about the racism you guys still have to encounter. As a white I wouldn't dream of making fun of other races, mostly it's just shameful to think what my fellow whites have done in the past and in the present. Though as a Finn my own countrymen have been more in the receiving end, because Finns aren't Indo-European, and thence we have been often seen as of lesser race than the other whites.

    Greetings from Finland.

  • @Feanorielle Correction: AWFUL, not aweful. Sorry, English isn't my native language...

  • @Feanorielle hhahahahahaha funny man funny its not ur kind its the spainish the the euros form mainland

  • yaateeh! shi ei madapina yinishye!

  • What comes to mind? NATIVE PRIDE!

  • I'm 100% Navajo. And like before I go to school I always watch this video. And I miss being on the navajo reservation. I'm proud to be dine.

  • I just wanted to say that this is a great video. I enjoyed the pictures and music. It just makes me wish that I could visit my family on the reservation. I am currently going to school for a degree in social work and hopefully plan to return. Some of the pics are places that i ve been to and miss. There is notning like home.

  • @phenoixMourningstar: I would suggest getting a hold of the social services and perhaps they can give you some direction on those issues. That may be a starting point, good luck...

  • Who's the artist........What's the name of the song?

  • Beautiful powerful people, beautiful powerful land, beautiful powerful song, harmony and peace with the land and people is what dine strive for. visit us in the four corners states in the US of A, You will love it and miss it when you leave.

  • @beone011 I've been to four corners in 2004 and loved it. I wish I could have spend more than one day there. I bought lot's of your beautiful arts and crafts :)

  • What is the name of the song?its very nice :) and country is beatiful...really...

  • love the music....

  • i been and hike some of those places

    Oh I loved the song.

    Thanks so much.

  • yo im from chinle

  • the song he man is sing is a wintertime shoe game song. Theses songs go back to the very begining of Navajo. We, (navajo) our songs are genuis. they are so old. We are very lucky to be to be so close to god. Thanks for posting

  • a native believeing in christian god, how sad

  • I'm not a Christian. I do believe in a higher power. A Christain takes Christ as their higher power. I believe that God is the Creator. I feel sad for you. How empty your litle life must be. I practice my beliefs. Thats why i know what the man is singing and I thanked the person who posted the video. Because hes just as proud as i"m. We know that our home land is Beautiful.

  • do you even speak navajo?

Just think if you believe in god in the 21st century ur IQ must really be low, not like I worship easter bunny, sata claus, tooth fary

If u just are a regular native who speaks navajo, loves his cultur and so on then I do respect u 100% but if ur fake (u either dont speak navajo or u speak it but only care a little about ur native cultur) then its sad

  • @akumie

Wow you are pathetic seriously you think you are so smart ass because you don't believe in god or creator but believe that things appears out of nowhere?.Comparing an atheist is the same as comparing a gullible idiot who believe that a magician made an rabbit appears in his hat out of nowhere lol.

Believe in god does not makes you stupid believe in religion does.

Things can't appear out of nowhere there is always a creative mind behind everything.

  • @akumie dude u r not native I do not need sypthay from some dude that found this page and is expressing his own opinion to other ppl ever though u probally arent native so to u I say mind ur own damn business other

  • What´s the song¿??¿

  • the album is called "Sacred Spirit "

  • I camp on chuska all the time. those mtns at 4:00 where are they.

this vid don't even begin to show the rez. for how cool it is. but don't. every body will whant to come out here

  • where can i find this song?

  • Lol okay this vid is shyt! Come on the Navajo "rez" is not I repeat NOT beautiful" Experience, all I saw there was a bunch of Drunkz. and Drama. Native Americanz are sad give it fifty more yearz till there extinct. Hate all you want but hell It'z the God-given truth.

  • nobody told you to look at this vid, thanks for watching though. Dont be such a hater cuz you dont have a heritage blame your parents or better yet go kill your self so you dont contaminate the world with you.

  • lmao hahaha cold

  • we procreate like rabbits. extinct...never.

you hardly see a navajos car without a car seat in it......and the ones that dont let them ride on there lap. your a fool talk about drunks, ever been to detroit, chicago,st.louis, nyc, houston, jacksonville, indianapolis, atlanta, new orleans,pittsburg,L.A.,seattle,daytona beach, denver, boise, nashville or porland?

the rez cant hold a candle to "drunks and drama" of the billigana

  • Comment removed

  • you went on our people land okay i dont live there even if i am navajo but i take every moment in when i visit.you think were fithy well we had az until settlers in and took it away from us.and we been nice to you until carson made us walk thousands of miles away form our home and then after weeks he said u could go home so we have to go back again.drunk well go to phoenix and walk around the corner and no surprise you see a drunk.i am the 3rd smartest kid in my class out of 34 students.

  • this video is an amazement to me, i miss home and would do anything to get back to my people,to my land.......

  • My family and I are doing missionary work on the rez here in NM...it is beautiful...I would love to know more about the culture and lives of Navajo's in the past and those that live it still. I would also like to know the name of the song and who sings it...it is beautiful...

  • Its good to be who you are and not be ashamed of it. I'm proud to speak and live this Navajo life that was given to me. I wouldn't trade it for nothing, not for eternity.

  • hey sshhhttt how come it doesnt show the parties the bon fires, snap lounge class act the booze the gurls..

  • The native peoples practiced the principles of take only what you need. For everything taken you must give back. Today this is called sustainable agriculture and recycleing. Or conservation of resources. It only took the so called civilized peoples 150+ years to figure it out and some still haven't figured it out. Peace

  • Hey job or not, money or not. Our ancestors made it no matter what. Dont use alcohol or gang life as an excuse. Just cuz u grew up with the luxery of having simple needs doesnt mean u can disrespect our culture and what our grandparents fought for and represent.

  • wow we really fucked up the rez... theres trash all over the place!!! now theres crazy shit going on like shootings and stabings.. dam!

  • Why did you allow the Navajo world become such a thing. Our ancestors would be very dissapointed in that.

  • where in wat part of the rez you live in cause in tsaile it isnt like that or round rock and place

  • The Rez is the hot bed for native culture these days.

Unfortunately these kids today have no pride in being first nations people.

My Rez of Norway House, Manitoba is now populated with Punks and Shitheads that have no understanding of being Red with Pride they dress in hip hop clothing and bling bling and Pitbull's & Boxer's running around unleashed. Like the World is Black and White to them Nothing else. Ungrateful generation. Thx for reading.

  • dats real..i ..dress nice..

    but..not n0 thug..u know why they like..

    that..cuz..there 2 influcence..on drug..and dat liqiuor...

    plus..

its hard 2 find a ..job..when u dont got that many skills!

  • i am 100% full blooded navajo and I lived on the rez for 6 years. i use to live in Tuba City. my mom and my brother and sister had to live off money she made from her jewelry and rugs. most people say that natives are mean and shit but thats cause you havent really talked to one. if you grew up in tuba everyone was so caring and nice to eachother. my mom treated strangers like they were her brothers and sisters. the rez is beautiful to me

  • so stupid!..white pple think there all better..bt u know wat?..there just all jelous!

  • im with you. mex treat me like they feel sorry for me im like wat how dare you though in my head

  • they have some of the best land on gods beautiful green earth.. yet they still trash it

  • you ignorant ass

  • hey white toriuise visit and think oh they'll pick it up is there anyway so they throw there trash on the side.we dont have time because we make rug jewlery and food to make a living you know its not like the city where theres lot of stores ok.the gov only give us little while the rest is spend on skinny jeans and punk clothes and makeup well girls theres a thing call all natural deal with it ok.you think looks is all that maters because if you live in rez its cooking that matters to a man.

  • i lived there for the firt 3 yrs of my life

  • Thanks! Family, respect, humbleness, tradition...oh, and good mutton stew...all thougths that come to mind...very nice pics

  • I have been on the rez and the people were extremely polite and kind. So much so that one of them even let us go pick peaches in the family orchard and when we tried to pay him he refused to take it. If you saw his house , you would know how much he probably needed the money.

  • thank you for saying that many people call us jerks of how we live.we just need land and love and enough money for school and elders.most are kind and gentle we love the land and what we are

  • "misticle"... LOL!

  • you're in my prayers....may you learn something about respect

  • Lol I just found out that I'm part Navajo. which is weird cuz i'm like the whitest guy around... wtf. well then, hello navajo peoples! Lol.

  • beautiful beautiful place that i would like to visit one day.

  • Thanks for taking me back home, if only for a few minutes.

  • wicked song

  • The land is amazing where i'm from, there may be a coal mind, but they will never touch me(the land). They can try,but I won't allow it to happen
