  • Hi I tried this same procedure by attaching html and the google code on the master. When I view any of the pages published on my site as source code the analytics is not there. So does the code need to placed on each page? Thanks

  • @ephotosaver Try pasting the code into File>Site Properties?Analytics, it works after Serif fixed it in a patch.

  • @LivingWandsworth Thanks again I'll give it a try..

  • really helpful much easier to understand than the google help page, thanks

  • Very helpful Naz. I just managed to install it onto my website. I did it using webplusx4 site properties analytics and pasting. Only thing is it has added the code beneath meta name description and script type. I hope that is ok. Restorian

  • There is also an option for "WbPlusx4 analytic" but not much in the way of explanations ? Do you have any? Thanks

  • @LoniHart The webplus analytics is realy a basic statistics tool. It will tell you basic things about the number of visitors etc, but it can't different human and search engine spyders. Its no where near as detailsed as google analytics and really if you want stats I would recommend Google's

  • can't paste anything when i do that it gives a rare nose from windows. HELP!

  • @wouter420 Are you pasting into the code or the File>Site Properties> Analytics?

  • @LivingWandsworth no in the html code on the masterpage

  • @wouter420 If you are pasting into the code, make sure you are pasting into a white area not greay area, you may need to select a white area and press return to expand it. Alternatively serif have fixed the File>Site Properties>Analytics code bug so paste it there instead.

  • @LivingWandsworth Thank you sooooo much it worked!!

  • Awsome thank you sooooo much for this tutorial:)

  • what size is that site you made? Just wondering. reply asap! thanks.

  • @NewEraBeatZ The site in the vdieo is I think 900 wide, its a free template from Serif available at the website. Normally I design sites at 970-980px wide.

  • @LivingWandsworth slight problem, i downloaded it from the serif site and it failed to open in Webplus X4. help!

  • @NewEraBeatZ

Assuming you have downloaded the file, and run the stallation process.

It won't 'open' in webplus, it will show up in your File>Startup Wizard>Use Design Template then scroll all the way to the bottom and you will see it there.

  • Naz, Thanks so much for taking your time to create this video and all the rest of these videos you've made. I bought the software while ago then 2 templates pk & got the printed manual for free and I felt kinda lost and I thought I wasted my money on this. Now with your instructional help I don't feel like that anymore. So thanks man - you rock !

  • Thank you for sharing this information. I just left a message today in the Serif forums and they pointed me in your direction.
