Your waiting for the 13:03 train to Aberdeen, after hearing all these station calling points, you maybe thinking, ''oh this should be one hell of a long train''.... What turns up, is 4 coaches, 3 standard and one 1st class coach. The passenger will say ''bloody hell i thought this would be a train not a cattle truck''.... I love the voyagers but this diagram is so out of control! Nice video.

whenever im down sutton or croydon he always says platform 1 for the 15:36 firstcapitalconnect service to St Albans at sutton or platform 2 for the first capital connect service to bedford with a real emphasis on the word bedford than at london

That's because they use different systems, eg: Birmingham New Street; "The train now approaching platform 2a is the 12:30 Cross Country service to Cardiff Central"

St Pancras Int'l: The train now approaching platform B is the 19:16 SERVICE to Bedford, callling at St Albans, Harpenden, Luton, Leagrave, Flitwick and Bedford, notice how he doesn't say the service name (First Capital Connect)

@THAMESLINK319 yeah i noticed that he used to i saw on old footage of firstcapital connect before the southeastern and first capital connect joining when moorgate shut after that he only says it at stations in the south from east croydon onwards and from streatham onwards what it really cool though is that at peckham rye the woman announces the sevenoaks service as a firstcapitalconnect service strange but k whereas phil sayer announces the kentish town trains as southeastern services

@465fan Its all linked bro. He will have compiled all station names, all times, all stops etc, and then the rail company links as appropriate, this is why sometimes it sounds like a yoyo. Not his fault lol. You should see his house! Hes a lovely guy too with a lovely family :)

Both Phil and Celia announce at BHM now. They do alternating platform islands. However, all concourse announcements (bar security and smoking etc) have been removed, resulting in an eerie silence.
