I remember this one too, but I can't find my favorite from the 60s -- the only famous person they used?
"Hi, I'm Nanette Fabray!" (suddenly looks exhausted.) "Polishing silver used to be a chore." (blows loose hair up off of her face.) "But no more!" (perks up dramatically.) A little later ..."Think of all the rubbing and scrubbing Tarn-X can save you in the kitchen." (extremely enthusiastic). I actually asked my mom if she would buy some for me; it looked fun! (I was in kindergarten)
I also remember the earlier one. So strange how I remember that commercial, "...you can take your beautiful silver pieces out of those plastic bags and keep them on display, where they can be seen, and admired..," ha!
@hammeringallday Yes it really is! I used it on a bullet belt I purchased online... And not only did it destroy my belt, it aso feels your house with an obnoxious odor...lol

There's an earlier, much more popular ad. I can recite the entire thing. I won't, though. but I'd like to find that one.

Of course if you use it on an actual antique you're destroying any value it might have had, hehe

Chemical dips such as Tarn-X are dangerous and destructive! Go to hermansilver to find out more by typing "Tarn-X" in the search window.
