I couldn't agree more. I was just talking to my best friend this morning about Kurt and how he was too melodically advanced to be writing punk in the way I think he wanted to. He was an artist that so many millions of others aspire to and so few reach. His suicide has left a big black hole in the musical landscape. He was brilliant.

The Cobain side of the family was littered with suicides and depression. You should read "Heavier Than Heaven." It's a very well thought out and written biography. I love his music.
