I may be wrong, but I think Danny is kinda everybody's child :D Anyway, Mac and Flack, this is a differnt story... I remember some ep. like "The fall", Consequences", "Sweet 16" where Mac behave like a pacient father with Flack. He always knew that, despite all, Flack will come around and eventually he will take the right decision no matter what. They are too much alike... Anyway, I glad you like the vid. well I think Mac is Danny's father and Flack is Danny big brother :D like Flack took care of him when Danny was searching for the guy who shot Ruben. & I think he said sth like "I'm you friend, that makes it my business!" kinda reminded me of a brother relationship. & when Mac hugged Danny after he comes out of the hospital and Danny's crying... felt as if Mac was some kind of a father figure to him + Mac is the Godfather of Danny's child :)
fought alot. for example in that scene (dont remember the episode) where Mac lets the boy go, but Flack actually wanted to take him into costudy or sth like that. didn't feel like Flack was looking up to Mac as a father, rather as a normal co-worker.
but it would be boring if we'd all share the same opinion :P
so whatever... as long as I love your video everything's awesome hah :D
Sharing the same oppinion doesn't make a relationship more parental... you know, father and sons don't always get along well :D and a father it's not always overprotective. Mac was there for everyone, but with Don is different. Even when don't have the same oppinions Mac understands that Don was emotionally involved in both cases and he tries somehow to show him the right way... "teach him", telling him that he should do the right thing no matter what. I think this is what a father should do,
guide him, and he knew that, deep down inside Don knew that Mac was right. It was just to hard for him to accept... Mac have much more experience in this cases and he knows how to deal with them... Flack is younger and those cases were, probably, harder for him to deal with. Remember that Mac was also there for Flack in "Rush to judgement"?
Anyway, we just have different oppinion :)) that's all. Father and son relationships are defferent, not always the same :) Let's call it even and make Flack and Danny brothers and Mac the mighty father =)) Cool with you? :P
