  • with out the horns

  • STH-10

  • i think its a type of thunder bolt

  • big motor for the chopper size!

  • I don't know if anyone's said it yet (don't think they have), but I'm highly confident this is a Darley Champion vertical missing the housing. It looks nearly identical in build to the 5HP versions, which are those ones that resemble "R2D2".

  • @murrfarms Ian I think I tend to agree with you on charlies siren now? after reserching a little, it does resemble the darley But it sounds just like a model 2 , charlie this siren could be worh a hoop of money I have never seen one ever

  • Seems like it may need more volts

Its not roaring as high as it sounds it should.

  • it MAY be a real old Canadian 2 that's Been Inverted. Dunno.

  • It's got to be a Sterling Vertical, but without housing. It sounds like it's not running full speed, either. You could try running 240V through it, but I don't recommend it.

  • Possibly a Mutant Model 2?

  • it seems loud

  • That could be a spartin siren there very similer to a model 2. But thats what I think.

  • @Jared1452

    You mean Sparton?

  • where did you find your camere at and how does it cost now

  • Looks like a german pneumatic siren

  • heay soccerdude7330 i subscribed to you. i would like you to see my channel and subscribe to me thnx. i am also a fellow siren watcher. i am wondering just how much is a fire alarm system and can you get one put in your house or your garage?? please reply. thnx. yours truly ((((((whelen4004))))))))

  • A panel ranges from $270-$2000.

  • SOUND LIKE A FIRE TRACK Siren

  • It sounds like a Boeing 747 starting up! Is it a Pratt Whitney engine lol?

  • Sterlings had the motor on the bottom... I agree with Archon, it's probably a GE siren.

  • Sterling Vertical

  • dude dont get butt hurt!!!

  • I watched several of your videos and I was wondering what buttons you were pushing on the control panel and what the different lights mean on the control panel.

I was also wondering why the fire department does not come each time you pull it.

  • the pull station isnt magiclally wired to the station like a school or something, i dont know how just is

  • the panel has to be a dialer that dials using a telaphone line and must be hooked to a central monitoring station

  • reply failed. agian

  • oh. i may tell that to my principal and she'll think im smart!!

  • doesn't that hurt your ears testing them inside? nice vid. i have no idea what siren it is either, but its cool that you have it and took a vid. its nice to have a different siren than all the other ones in vids.

  • Don't ya just love the people on YT who can't keep their opinions to their self and love to pick on people to make their self feel better about their uselessness. YAWN!!!! I could'nt tell you what kind of siren it is but it sounds good Charlie.

  • There are too many of those people on youtube. To many.

  • Those type of people are why Charlie has been staying silent lately and banned commenting on his other vids.

  • It is a old General Electric Siren.

  • Charlie, how many sirens have you sold to communities?

  • As of now I'm holding all sales of sirens due to the possibility of having the second 2T and all my other incoming sirens being sold to places in Lebanon, TN. Hopefully some rural areas of Dickson may be interested in some as well.

  • What your mouth people like because they like it, if you don't like just don't watch>:(

  • @lilaznalec im not trying to be rude, but if you dont like it, why did you watch it???

  • Sterling, it could be a vertical, thats what I think,

  • I take that back it's to small to be a vertical.

  • did you e-mail the person you got it from and ask what type of siren it is?

  • Sterling Siren

  • for sum reson your vidios are osem and you cinda look like me

  • Huh? I can't read what you just "typed"...

  • heh, you learn a lot when you're on IRC and chats all the time, he said: "For some reason your videos are awesome and you kind of look like me." You can ask me any other questions if you want to. :)

  • I'm a translator.

"For some reason, your videos are awesome. And you kind of look like me"

  • Learn to type please?

    kthxbai

  • Sounds like you got your stator prob fixed.

  • Yep, got it balanced on the armature properly this time.

  • Awesome! Maybe a Sterling Vertical 5 or a Denver vertical.

  • ... not to sure Charlie... we have the same kind but a newer design and they are Federal Sig. dont know if it is the same one tho.

  • Judging by the pitch, this is a 240 volt siren. Someone thought that it was either a very early Model 2 or an early Canadian version of it.

  • Sterling Vertical, no doubt.

  • ahaha lol theres someone named denver AND sterling in my class not joking COOL SIREN THOUGH!

  • its a sterling

  • Sounds like a Sterling. Not sure though.

  • can u give us a sound test without the intake blocked

  • I think this is a Darley "trash can" Champion siren. I remember a while back seeing a pic of the insides of one, and it looked very similar to this.

  • sterling fier siren?

  • sounds like a denver

  • noteing the base it might be a rare sparten siren, but im not shure.

  • denver? Denver? DENVER I LIVE IN DENVER haha

  • Not sure what that would be, but definitely not a Denver.

  • Vertica Denver with a smaller rotor/stator, probable form a model 2. I think the origonal rotor Stator would fit just inside the supports.
