Funny as this scene is, one of the only things I didn't like about 'Serenity' was that Kalee and Simon's relationship appeared different from how it was on the show. On the show, they seemed to be slowly but genuinely falling in love and developing a relationship, but in the movie, it was made to look like simply lust on Kaylee's part.

@Adamguy2003 I think they might have done that on purpose. I mean, the movie was supposed to be the wrap up of firefly as a series, and many people wanted Kaylee and Simon to get it on. Besides, I don't think it was just Kaylee "lusting" after Simon. At the end Simon does say that he was too busy with River to focus on what he wanted. Kaylee! :)

It's not twist, it's 'twixt, which is short for betwixt, which is middle English for 'between.' As 'nether regions' is a slang expression for 'down there,' it pieces together in a manner which makes sense.
