Thanks for doing this. It proves to me that Tracy Emin is merely an agenda lead and ultimately soul-less entity who follows the orders of the Media Magnates who have promised her large sums of money and a kind of immortality. It doesn't make her irrelevant... just, almost a waste of time!

You gotta love the "I can't think of a new direction to take my art, so I'm going to write" approach. Though some of her line drawings are interesting, they lack the technical skill and strength of say Calder or the very master she referenced.

Great expressive work. Tracey Emin is obviously using Gustav Klimt's drawings as source material. Interesting to see such similar imagery coming from a female artist. Are they autobiographical? Thanks for sharing James.

I've seen the whole gamut of Klimt's series, but never Schiele. I also find it interesting that first comment offended someone. I was in no way attempting to discredit Ms. Emin, but rather to weave her into the history of art.
