Make the new things filled with love from the old fashioned. And even the old fashioned will always be'd repented with a caring hearts. So old fashioned will become a treasures. To become released in DVD.
Man, if the rest of the program was as fun as that opening number I really wish they'd put this out on DVD. Just good fun, especially for nostalgic old guys like me who remember watching Hong Kong Phooey (number one super guy!), Dyno-Mutt and Fred & Barney back in the '70s. This was also an age of real entertainers: Pat Boone, Dinah Shore, Rosemary Clooney. It would be fun to see the Ropers' sketch, too. Seeing them in here I'm guessing this show must have aired on ABC in 1977 or '78?
@ryecroft57 1979. This was the 3rd of the Pat Boone and Family Specials. The first was a regular special that aired in spring 78 (at the height of Debby Boone's career), the second was the '79 Easter Special. This Christmas special was rerun on Nick-at-Nite in 1995.
THIS IS SO COOL. I remember watching this. Note that the "hudson bros." the last guy on the stairs is Kate Hudson's dad(goldie hawn's ex) Great to see old footage.
This was made in 1979, taped at ABC Television Center in Hollywood.

Alright...I get the fact that it's OK to be a kid at christmas.
But is it also OK to leave a baby carriage unattended while you dance around with cartoon characters?

The Hanna-Barbera stuff is timeless. Here we are, nearly 30 years after this aired, and it's still fun to watch.

Wow, theres one in a Dynomutt costume! I never knew they had one of those. I always thought he was alittle more obscure.

A very GOOD one from the good old Hanna-Barbera in my life.
I love Dynomutt, Scooby Doo, Huckleberry Hound, Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble.
It's so nice to them in REAL LIFE!

Wholesome family entertainment. No wonder variety shows died off. Too bad. Some great talent on this show.

Your Mommy needs to put you over her knee for a spanking after washing out your mouth with
soap, Canary, before you say something stupid
like that to the wrong person and wind up as
a poor pudgy little face on a milk carton.

"Do you even have a cunt? " No I don't have a cunt. If I did have a cunt then every time I looked between my legs I'd see PAT BOONE.
