  • I actually had tears in my eyes when they played this the other day. Such a sap.

  • I love these guys. I used to travel all over to see their shows, because they were always so positive and energetic. They even watched out for the crowd to make sure no one was getting hurt. They are true gentlemen and I hope I have the opportunity to see a reunion show one day!

  • @dropjaw They are doing a fest here in AZ 9/24

  • @str8edgeX4life i will be at this show too, good buddy. I'm more concerned with seeing Cruel Hand and H2O!

  • fucking youtube arguments are stupid...

  • you could stage dice into the singers eyebrows. by the way, i remember when these duds started in SC....they just followed the herd, as per usual in the punk scene.

  • Dang and here I thought this was the Stretch Armstrong action figure.

  • Very good band. The greatest? You are nuts. How can you say that?

  • @pureinjoymeant you're a dude, this band is about respect, respect them

  • i'm a goddess ~ i respect everything i touch ~ you can consider your little channel GOLD now

  • Awesome vid! Awesome band!!

  • Such a shame they're no longer around. True lyrics, about passion for any music, love, respect, friendship, family, the things that mattered before haircuts, designer clothes and money! So glad I got to see them once.

  • songs*

  • is it just me, or does a day to remember almost get their sound from these guys?

one of their sounds sounds exactly like this

  • why did they replace the original live audio with the studio recording?

  • @clamantuanguyan Have you ever been to a show?

  • @xjtbarnesx no.. does it suck?

  • This should have been a punk rock/hardcore anthem for the first five years of the 2000's instead of anything Green Day, Sum 41, or Offspring did.

  • @jefferygwatkins if you were at any show of theirs in the early 2000's.... it was an anthem. a beautiful, sweaty, head-walking anthem.

  • @BRENDANMASI The only time I ever saw them was...2002 or 2003.

    Yes, I got it in!

  • @jefferygwatkins and those bands are fucking terrible. That isn't what lead through 2000 to date. Thats just mainstream crap.

  • @CheeseZombieo No doubt, but if you ask most people about punk, those are the bands that get cited. It's just a fact. Nobody [sadly] knows who Stretch Arm Strong is anymore.

  • I had a chance to see these guys at a show with my brother.

    Years ago.

    They were awesome.

    Hell of a show

  • the van had a Georgian license plate! =D

  • i remember seeing these guys as the headliners with support from norma jean, everytime i die, and throwdown.

  • these lyrics are badass haha one of my top favorite bands

  • me too compadre

  • fuck....i would like to have in my country a scene like that!

  • There arent even classified punk... they are straight edge core anyways... Im not a huge fan but I am glad I got to see the last show that they will ever play last night

  • straight edge hardcore-punk

  • @viciousvixenx it doesn't suprise me that you were in the general attendance of a hardcore show in either Columbus, SC or Jacksonville, FL. "straight edge core" hahahaha.

  • You are a fucking idiot, this is the most influencial punk band ever. If you don't like it don't listen to it. SAS 4 ever

  • @garrettjackson Certainly not the most influencial anything band ever... It's a dece tune no less <3

  • @garrettjackson I hate to burst your bubble but I can name at least 3 bands that are more influential than these guys. Number 1 is Black Flag. Number 2 is Refused. Number 3 is Bad Religion. These guys have had more influence over punk music over the last 30 years than a almost anyone and 2 of these bands have not existed for the majority of that time span.

  • @Refusearefuckingdead why u gotta argue? punk music isnt about turning against each other.

  • @ollenbergerstudios Sorry man. I am not trying to sow dissent. Just trying to make sure people know the facts. I am not saying these guys are not good or anything just that there are bands in punk that have more influence on people. I am definitely not putting people down for liking this either. If you love it great. That is awesome. Enjoy it and keep it where it belongs. Close to your heart. I keep my favorite band right there and on my right forearm.

  • @Refusearefuckingdead One band can be a giant influence to one person and mean nothing to another. When you say that a band is or isn't influential its your own opinion and means absolutely nothing. You are entitled to your opinion, but don't spout your opinion off as a known fact. Stop stirring up shit and enjoy the music- it's not worth arguing over.

  • @ollenbergerstudios Apparently you missed everything I said with the last statement. It is a known fact. I am not stirring up shit and not intending to insult anyone. Until the day I commented I had never heard of these guys. That is extremely odd for someone like me who listens to tons of music and has done so for years. I also apologized at the beginning of my previous comment and said I was not trying to start anything. Pay attention to what is being said before being hostile.

  • @ollenbergerstudios I also agree with you that one band can have more influence over some people than others. I was simply making the statement that SAS is not the most influential punk band ever. Not insulting anyone by saying that. Just making a statement. I didn't even say they were not good or that I didn't like them. You can not believe what I said as much as you want but the proof is in the facts.

  • your a fucking idiot.

  • cool band. glad i looked them up. i love the punk influence

btw, people should remember that what "genre"a certain band is classified in should be irrelevant to whether or not you like the band.

  • indeed dude. wayyyy too many people are too dependent on "genres". fuck that. so stupid.

  • its hardcore nitwits

  • haha gumbys in the crowd

  • Stretch Arm Strong are the fucking shit. They live up to this song live, no joke. I hung out with them for like 2 hours and BSed and played pool and whatnot. Used to have Chris Mcclanes number then my fucking phone got destroyed.

  • I love when people brag on the internet

no one cares stop treating independent musicians like fucking celebrities.

  • def not punk...... I agree with the mediumcore guy

  • who the fuck cares what genre it is, fucking jerk offs. tell ya what, these guys are better then most of the mindless bs these days. punk metal jazz ska what fucking ever. do we have to be a product of one genre?

  • ew...

  • does he have a hope conspiracy shirt. i wonder what i did with that one

  • I was there in the back. That was so long ago. I miss my friends in sas.

  • are people so obsessed with labeling genres that shit can't be punk? like what the fuck..it's clearly punk..

  • its fucking punk wtf

  • its not hard

    but its not soft

    lets call it mediumcore

  • no, we'll call it punk

  • Nice

  • Man I havent heard these guys do a show in a while, not sure if there even together. I hope they though there amazing,

  • Wow, I haven't heard these guys in years. I really prefer heavy metal but these are one of the few hardcore bands I can get in to.

  • This is what it's all about.

  • I was at this show, they played with hopesfall, this was back in the day.

  • i love the band for their activism in social views and stuff

    best posicore band ever

  • hey dick if your not proud of where you come from dont put it in a song and I was there a the debut of that song when you opened for zao be proud

  • i think (i know) what he meant by that is the place where they're from has (had) major problems with racism. So, like any true hardcore band, they are being honest. That's integrity, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that.

  • haha, that was gumby!!

  • whats up with the green guy in the crowd?

  • LOL!!!

  • That's fuckin' Gumby dude.
