You know i love this fight scene it's the best in the movie, but Jet li should never have won, the hung gar guy was thumping him, wire tricks got him in the end, that drives me nuts grrr
I know but traditionally kung fu movies would pit two styles against each other to show there skills, here you see the hung gar guy vs the wire tricks guy. It's a comment on the kung fu movie industry at the moment, everything is on wires no real kung fu. As i said this is actually my favourite scene in the movie it was simply an observation that the only time Jet gets one over on the other guy was when he was on wires doing something impossible.
its not the same guy, because the guy with the dao died in the movie, the hung gar guy is there in the end, wathing the final fight with the other... and.. hung gar have broadsword too you know lol.
The frames per second in this video are terrible since that was the only clip i had from the fight(Back in the day). So i'd suggest watching it on dvd or watching the same video somewhere else on youtube since the FPS might be a lot better there:)
I recorded this when the movie was just released. I used fraps and unfortunatly it didden't work out well. I'm not going to fix it cause i'll have to refilm this movie part again. I enjoy it myself and i'm sure other people do the same. As being a martial artist myself it's actually kind off fun to watch the fighting parts as some sort of fast playing sliding show since i can see the moves better that are done by legs and hands.
