Bison tokens can be traded in for items, the headgear, and sold to other players for said items and headgear. A minor amount of Norn points are also earned. And some people need to collect the various heroes/items from the tournament as well, which makes it useful to have a solid build that can beat it multiple times consistently (because most players don't enjoy wasting gold to enter).
I think he's got a normal chance of showing up, I remember fighting him more then once... most NPCs will only show up in certain rounds, so maybe you don't always reach his round. He shows up in the later rounds, I think.
this is a good build as far as i can see, using it in the tournament but i'm not part derv on my assassin. i'm part warrior, anyone got a build for A/W? (with daggers: i hate using axes with sin)
Mystic Regeneration is pretty important for the build, unfortunately... it lets you power through a lot of damage/degen. That said, you could probably use this build without Mystic and still get kills; Bison shouldn't be able to hit you, so as long as you can reach him, you're golden.
That's purely because you've got more points into Dagger Mastery then I do (not to mention the Vampiric Mod). I'm using good daggers here, max-damage. It's just got lower attributes to leave room for the other skills.
Very nice. Only reason I prefer my own build is the versatility (enchantment/stance removal), but I can't argue, your build does more damage. :D How does your build do if you run into Mhenlo or Lukas?
Considering I win it EVERYTIME, and I beat Mhenlo, I beg to differ, k thanks! Don't judge it until you try it. If you suck at using it, that's not my problem, Mhenlo dies in less than 2-3 seconds anyway.
The entire build is basically a PvE build I normally use in PvE, as a matter of fact (I use Golden Fox Strike as the lead, for the bigger damage, and a res of course). One of my favorite builds definitely. :D
...this build works on a few melee bosses too even, so long as you can get them solo.
