this is interesting....if you take a good hard look at this car's styling it really is like a blend of other cars all in one....example...from the side it looks like 67 plymouth fury, from the front the stacked headlights look like the 66 ford and the rear end looks very General Motors. I wonder if they did that on purpose trying to completely cover the field style wise
I have a 1968 DPL and it looks great with 15" Cragar SS rims on it. I also put coil over shocks on the back for a small rake. Cooper Cobra tires. If this has the factory BW tranny, be careful doing your burnouts, they are notoriusly weak.
WoW!!! Amazing!! I just bought a 69 Ambassador SST.. The car is a wreck!!! I just rebuilt the engine and the trany. All brand new parts on the engine. The only problem I'm having is that the body shop let it sit for 4 months and has not started it. Breaks my heart that they did this. I wanted it painted with a charcoal smokie black and call it BLACK BETTY just like the song. My mothers name is Bertha!! You have a really nice car but just like RUWITHLEE1970 the car needs a hot rod look!
Nice car, But a little to stock looking !Needs a set of rims and tires to give it the hot rod look a set of nascar syle wheels $50 bucks each and some BF Goodrich T/A's would make it look better as well as make it handle much better and stop.
@ruwithlee1970 My original plans were to install Magnum 500 style, or factory AMC period correct rims with BFG. T/A’s. I have waiting to be installed, Addco front and rear anti sway bars, and replacement rear springs. This, with the T/A’s, would really help the car in the handling department. But I have decided to sell the car, so who ever buys the car, will have to do the upgrades.
Did you sell the car I hate to say it but I've had a 360 concord for sale for three yrs. This ecomomy sucks!!!!!!
